Well I would've suggested 5 goal ranges.

Holy crap, now that I took another look at it, it is a tad much doing it the way that he did IMO. That said it will be pretty accurate, I felt that he will pot over 40 so I didn't even pay attention to anything below that until now.

I see that Replacement can't bring himself to admit that barring injuries he'll be in the 30+ goal range.

I think he'll beat his career average too...just not 20 percent.

I predicted before the season began that Smyth would get 35-40 playing with Kopitar (barring injury).

He's currently on pace for 36.

i clicked 24-25 but that was suppose to be 34-35 i need more coffee

I really hope penner can push towards 40+ and get above 70 points. As much as I like penner in front of the net I would think he would do a lot better popping those one timers across the ice from hemmer instead of horc, but I don't think we have anyone else to put infront then

What's his shooting %? Kopitar is a special player no doubt, I've always been in your corner in terms of Anze.

I see where your coming from. Okay I will up it and say 35. But thats as high as I go. He also played with better linemates in Anaheim during his rookie year remember. He is playing like some one his size with his skill should play. Which is great since he has kept it up. But its a long season. And I want to see it for full sched

Well since you lacked an "over 9000" option, I went with 34-35.

Chose 32-33 goals. Even with his pace at this point 33 goals for the big guy would make me happy so long as he does not go into prolonged periods where he looks like he is floating.

That not even taking into consideration how many sticks he breaks...which will affect his 2,688,172 goals per minute pace.

In conclusion, I think you are overly optimistic with this guess.

AV bet?
I stand by my prediction. Name your terms.

I don't think he'll stay on the pace he's been on. I do think though that he'll maintain the pace of a 30 goal guy. So based on the simple math of 62 more games of a 30 goal pace (by 30 goal pace I mean 30/82) he'll end up with 35 goals. Which would be great.

I'm gonna go with 36-37. I'd be really happy if he broke 40 though.

He is already starting to slow down.

I say he finishes with 31.

MCG, where's your prediction? Count me in as someone that won't vote on any of your future polls if you can't vote on your own or at least express your opinion in a post.

In a blog post I wrote up in August '07 I predicted his first three seasons to go 23, 16 and 35 goals. So far he's at 23 and 17. I'm calling him to get 35 this season and if I'm right I'm going to bet365 and putting down some big-@$$ bets

Thats where I got him. I said he would break 40 at the start of the year...but the team can't cycle the puck around him so that hurts his game at times.
