This kid is brilliant right now. I don't even know if you can call this a hot streak, he's simply been that good since his first game and that was over 3 weeks and 10 games ago. Sutter doesn't skip a beat and that is damn impressive on such a lousy team.
Caniac247, I am with you. When Staal returns, Sutter best be the #2 center or cemented in the top 6 in some way, shape or form. With that said, just as it was talked about in Chips article today, it will be important to monitor his physical level and be sure we don't drain the kid. It will happen and the time will come I am sure when he hits a bit of a wall just as Staal did. The 6'3 183 pound build screams it. Don't run him into the ground, but at the same time give him the right amount of minutes. It will be key for our coaches and trainers to keep a good eye on Sutter. Same goes for any young kid, it's all a part of the learning curve and it can be an issue whether you're 183 pounds or 200. It's a long, draining, physical season for young kids in that adjusting period.
Of all the players, why is Sammy the goat? In all the games I've seen (admittedly limited) he's been playing well. Brindy, Cole, and several other players, including most of our D, have been playing much worse then he has.
It just makes no sense to me. Of course, most of what Mo has done this season makes no sense to me.
now its Larose on the 4th, seems like MO wants Kosto to stay on the 3rd line
