Cogs to Montreal?

Heard on the Montreal radio station this am that montreal are dealing with oilers right now for coglano any truth to this in the west? Posible trade of sergi kost and Chipchura.

LOL, no that's not going to get it done. There may be a deal there, but the Oilers are looking to just give him away.

I doubt Cogliano is going anywhere. Not to mention the Habs really should be looking at acquiring more small forwards.

Nilsson+ for A. Kostitsyn would be my guess.

This would be so ironic... Just make a thread about him getting traded then he gets dealt

Hopefully we can get a decent package for him, maybe we could include Horcoff to

There's no one from the Habs that would really improve the team, IMO.

Maybe MaxPac, but I doubt he's on the table.

That trade proposal make absolutely no sense for either team.

It makes sense for Montreal, despite the fact they get smaller, they get an NHL player for two non-NHL players.

If for no other reason they unload a player that hasn't been the greatest influence on Andrei Kostitsyn. Though it would clearly make no sense from the Oilers POV obviously (unless other players were involved).

It makes no sense, as originally posted, for Edmonton because they are getting ripped off value wise in a significant way. For Montreal it makes great sense, because they get the best player by a wide margin.

Cogliano + Nilsson for Lantadresse + Sergie K

I say we keep Cogliano. He has speed to burn. That sets him apart from almost everyone we have. Why would we get rid of that?

True but I am having a hard time watching Mendoza wiff on breakaways. I would be very interested if PK was involved to be coming back our way.

Extra: Reddox/Moreau
When Healthy, excluding Pouliot and Pisani since they are out a while.

I think that's a better lineup if Gagner and Kostitsyn can rekindle any of the chemistry they had in junior.

Bolded players are either over 6 feet or Physical (Brule)

You would have to add a heck of a lot more than Cogs to land PK.

Montreal is the one team that may have less total trade value on its roster than Edmonton.

There's just nothing there.

Max Pacioretty is kind of interesting, but after that? Zilch.

More than likely, but that is the only player I am interested in acquiring from Montreal.

Why would we want someone like SKost?

Why not instead just locate every single player that our players have had chemistry with since they were playing midget, have a massive tryout, and the ones with the most chemistry make the team?

Makes no sense.
