Whether or not all the injuries prove too much to overcome come the spring, one underlying long-term benefit is how it has now thrust our younger players (AK46 included) to attempt to rise up like never before. We all know there will be growing pains, but they have an opportunity to gain invaluable experience and, hopefully, a taste of success. No doubt, this will strengthen the Habs, who have many youngsters, next year and thereafter (cynics don't read into that that we're giving up on the season).
Now all we need is for Cammy and either Spacek or Hammer to go down for some time.
He's pretty much already down.
I'm hoping the bright side is that somehow, by January and then early February, we will have all the injury woes out of the way and can let the other teams catch the injury bug. Of course, that is making a massive assumption that we will not have a carousel of injuries until April. oh hope, you cunning *******.
