If two clubs are tied, and have not played an equal number of home games against each other, points earned in the first game played in the city that had the extra game shall not be included. If more than two clubs are tied, the higher percentage of available points earned in games among those clubs, and not including any "odd" games, shall be used to determine the standing.

The one redeeming factor about last season was they won three of the four games against the Wings. Here's hoping at least that carries over.

Tonight, i think we will see Barch vs. May round 5. That should be as entertaining as always.

Stars win 3-1.
Goals: Barch, Daley, Wandell.

We have beaten the hawks once though which is a feat not accomplished last year.

Not sure it is the best decision to test Marty's Joe Louis demons, surely someone informed Crawford of this...I'm holding out hope Marty doesn't give up a first shot goal, if he doesn't I'll deem the night a success (set small attainable goals is my motto).

Playing Turco in Detroit is a futile task of sisyphean proportions. About time we have a coach that knows when to cut his losses.

Auld has a 2.02 GAA and .938 SV% at the Joe. Plus he's up against Jimmah Howard so it's not the tallest task in the world.

If Dallas scores 3 goals, they'll win.

If they score 2 goals, they'll lose.

Pretty cut and dry there.

I'm still holding onto him in my fantasy pool, hoping he'll break out some more, but he seems to have been quiet.

He had 2 games at the Joe last year:

#1 2.02 GAA .917 sv%
#2 6 GAA .778 sv% (4 goals on 18 shots played 2 periods)

so one decent game (Jan 29), one crap game (Jan 8).

Smart move playing our back up against theirs, save Turco for the two important home games coming, id back our forwards to finally break the freaking 2 goal barrier tonight and light up at least 4 to give Auld some breathing room...

quietly confident.
