Now just keep it up for another 3/4 of the year to actually win the Hart trophy

I hate how Hejda gets no love for being as badass as he is. Then again, maybe I am glad as it might make it easier to re-sign him! That being said, glad to see the cap get some well deserved recognition.

Let's start the campaign right now.

Jan Hejda for the 2011 All-Star Game!

Shouldn't a quarter of the Hart trophy be called the Ventrical? (misspelling intentional )

Depends on which quarter. It might be an Atrium instead.

Nash has 24 points in 19 games; on pace for my prediction of 101 points-I'd say he's a league MVP candidate. The only negative is a -9 +/- but that is a stat based on lines as much as an individual effort.

If one has watched every Blue Jacket game he has been engaged for 90% of those periods... He's having a career year for the Blue Jacket team, my vote for the Hart quarter goes to him.

Exactly. A theoretical trophy given out one quarter the way through the season by one media outlet is pretty worthless. But since this is ESPN, I'd say it's especially worthless. Doesn't change the fact that Nash is a damn good hockey player though.
