gotta give em big props for the comeback. they looked sad early.
great game by the top line consistently having good shifts and creating chances.

We pulled one out tonight. Tale of two games really. Gilbert sucks. Jet's avatar startles me every time I see it.

Four unanswered goals against the NW division leader, after being down by two late in the second period.

Great job in the second half of the game by Jeff 'Fuhr' Deslauriers. He didn't let in that 5th goal that might've sunk them.

They really wanted this one badly, and it showed. Good for them, and maybe they can build on this.

I didn't think they had it in them. I'm glad I was wrong.

Feels good to put some faith in the boys and be rewarded.

Kool-aid's on me, kids.

Great comeback. They could have quit at 4-2 but scored 4 straight to win.

4 more games on this homestand (Chicago, Phoenix, LA, San Jose). Let's make this a great homestand and be over .500 by the time we go back on the road.

Props to JDD. Didn't give up the 5th goal when it was 4-2, even when the Avs had two 5-on-3s.

Yep. He's making Moreau expendable. Reddox is much more effective in Moreau's role. Better forechecker, better defensively. I think he's staying, possibly for good.

Very good hockey game. The Oilers played great - and they outshot someone and won the game!

Hemsky continues his strong play and looks like the Hemsky we all have come to know.

Lots of good things tonight. Everyone came to play tonight, save for Gilbert and perhaps JDD in the first half. But JDD rebounded after that fourth goal and made several big saves. That's huge for him.

Brule and Reddox get my 4th and 5th stars of the game.

I'm very happy to see that Quinn didn't mess around. His play in the first period was brutal and should NHL defenseman should play that soft.

And hopefully it kicks Gibby a good kick in the ass.

Put some vodka in mine. I wonder if the "Teams the same as last year" boys will show?

BIG Win, thank god we held onto that lead, we needed 2 pts and to not give them any Reddox saved our butts on that late third period shift, i trust him more than just anybody on the ice, kid always makes the right play..... Colorado played back to back but we played 3 out of 4 nights, Colorado played their backup but so did we..... Also, i give JDD a lot fo credit for somcing back the way he did in the third, made a couple of nice saves. Also, the top line looked terrific, lets hope they keep it up, we need them.
