So 2 out of 3 killing off of 5 on 3's lead to goals. (and on the other one it lead to a great scoring chance) But 2 outta 3 ain't bad.
Yeah they killed a similar 5-3 on Monday against the Bruins. We have to kill another penalty to start the 3rd.

Only so many penalties a team can kill.

Give them enough power plays they were going to score eventually.

Too may penalties. Not only too many, but bad penalties.

I thought it was going to happen too. Looks like they have to do this even strength today. PP has moved the puck, just not getting it to go in.

Only a one goal lead, I would not call it a third period letdown.

We really miss Mr Weight on the PP, and not really liking Nielson on the PP.

The Islanders are playing relatively well thus far. Not giving up too many chances even strength although two or three too many penalties for my liking.

Nothing but 2 points will make me happy 2night....

All the teams that played today, in that 6-13th slots in the conference won tonight--we need a win as well.

I think this has been a bad game for the Islanders for the most part, something was missing, too many bad penalties, missed open net chances, and poor power play, but if you are at 2-2 with 2:00 left in regulation, it means you can get away with some sluggish play

What was Biron doing there? Aside from jumping out of the net, nothing he could have done would have resulted in a goal there. So stupid.
