There's a Barrett Jackman, a Tim Jackman, an Andy McDonald, and an Andrew MacDonald in the same game. What are the chances?

I'll ask here since I didn't get any answer in the other thread

what do you think of David Perron's play defensively at even strength?

What better night to ask a question on his defensive play when he just scored one of the nicest goals this season hehe

Awesome goal! lets keep it up with the winning.

BTW I like Panger but he sounded like the Santa Clause down at my local mall.

Murray should sctatch Perron for the whole next game for not sticking to game plan with that goal

Above average, especially when you consider his age. He's not going to get consideration for a Selke, but he's very responsible and makes an honest effort. He's also pulled off a few Datsyuk-like takeaways in his time here in St. Louis.

He is also very strong on the back check and can get back to cover for a d man that gets caught (he did so again tonight). He is kind of like Oshie in that he is a puck hound - by that I mean he always seems to be around the puck (or the puck follows him around).

Okposo's stick was swinging around in TJ's face right before Meyer went across to the other side to hit him. TJ didn't even see it coming. Later on, Meyer discovered what being Oshie'd is when he recieved a nice reverse shoulder that deposited him on the ice. At least Meyer had the benefit of knowing TJ was right next to him.

Just got back in town to realize I hadn't set my DVR for the Islanders game. The highlights were nice though. The 2 points is important. Berglund's goal is probably the most important thing that happened in the game. But Perron's 2nd goal was just....overwhelming. Very impressive.

The team seems to have regained some confidence. I'm expecting to see them go on a bit of a tear, but I've thought that before a couple times. Mason continues to be the team MVP. I expect to see him getting a new contract and slated to be the starter for a couple more years after his solid start.
