Methinks that we have much redundancy in the bottom 6. Who would you rather have?

Brule, no question. I don't know where Cogs fits on the team. Brule on the other hand is physical and can win faceoffs.

I figure I was very harsh on Cogs in a previous thread. I think he could be useful to a team that requires his specific skill set. The Oilers are not that team. That being said I pick Brule 5 times out of 5.

Cogliano would (and should) have more value around the league... if we could get a good top 6 LW for him it's a deal you have to make.

Cogliano could be a consistent 30 goal guy if given the opportunity. Brule doesn't have NHL level talent.

First he has to earn it.

Brule just because Cogs could fetch us a better player if hes traded but skillwise I dont know, Cogs and Brule havent really been given that much of a chance to play with top 6 players this season so its tough to know

Keep both, move Sully instead to start reducing the number of small skill forwards. Cogs and Brule atleast have more or some degree of physicality. They all have similar skills, but Brule has crust, Cogs has speed, Sully has...?

Brule. I'd shop Cogliano at the deadline.

Amazing in that it's amazingly consistent 3 inches right of the net? : )
The only Oiler with a lower shot % of relevance is Gilbert.

Well he does have a very accurate and hard shot and hes proven that in the shootout. He just seems to be snakebit in the actual game for some reason, hes probably worrying to much...

Based on what? 12 EV strength points say otherwise. Players without "NHL level talent" don't do that. Simple as that. They put up points like Schremp or Pouliot.

i voted neither, because neither are difference makers (which is the type of player that we need)

cogliano just isn't very good at all... brule is riding a 19.4% shooting percentage right now, and will fall back to earth soon enough

if i had to pick between them i would pick brule though, as least hes capable of doing something (hitting) at the NHL level... all cogliano can do is skate fast and not play defence

Why not just ask, what player do you like more this week?

If the bolded statement is true then I guess the 30 goals you're talking about Cogs scoring is in the AHL then?
