Its been brutal watching this team lose. The one incentive that always keeps me coming back is Gaborik because he has just been flat out amazing.

Lets pull out a win tonight, we need one here.

Too bad #23 is injured for game #23. Could use a defensive forward since nobody else knows what that means and the defensemen are playing like ......let me not say or i'll get infracted.

6-1 OTW
Book it.

Nothing has gone right since the SJ game. The Rangers up 2-0 early in the first.Valiquette gets beat by that sharp shooter Brad Staubitz and everything has fallen apart. 8 out of 10 people on this forum could have stopped that puck.

To be perfectly honest -

I have very little, if any confidence in this team - even on home ice.

And that is not good.

They get off to a good start and actually get some secondary scoring... Leading 3-2 going into third (giving us hope that this team can actually put it together if they work at it) but Vally gives up a soft-serve and the wheels fall off. 3 unanswered goals including one from Tyutin on a 3 on O - just to rub it in our faces a little bit.

BJ's 5 - Rangers - 3

as long as we have gaborik and lundqvist in net we will have a chance to win. in order for us to regain the confidence guys like callahan, avery, anisimov need to step up and start putting some pucks in the net. In my opinion, tortorella has to pull the reins back a little bit on staal, and let gilroy play. let gilroy play the way he did in preseason and he would become more of an offensive threat again. staal isnt that offensive, we need his defensive game back. everyone knows hes been shaky. rozy just sucks so that will always be a downfall. mdz has been a very nice surprise.

o and btw, i wouldnt mind a season where we miss the playoffs. yes the rangers do have a good farm system, but it wouldnt hurt to let some of our better prospects get another year under their belt. also we would get a higher draft pick which i would not mind at all for next season.

What the hell's up with the "Vally in goal" talk? There's no word on who's starting yet guys...

If anything, I'd like to see Vally in goal against the Panthers on Wednesday, not tonight.

Book it.

I'm not a big fan of Drury's and I know he sucks offensively, I miss him (and Dubinsky) in the lineup. Not just because of their talent in winning faceoffs, but because of their defense.

Anyway, let's think positive on this game. Columbus is averaging 3.29 goals against a game. We all know Gabby is going to have a point or two. Let's pray, at least, some others can nail in a few...

Still being optimistic here, I say 3-2 Rangers.

Why not give Aves a shift or three on the first? Everyone may key on him and leave Gabby with a little more room.

At this point, why the hell not?

He looked fine on the 1st Line with Jagr and Dubinsky back in 2008... Couldn't hurt.

gave my tix to one of my vendors, Ive officially decided its not worth spending 1.5 hours on a train round trip to watch a team that plays 30 minutes (if we're lucky)

lets go toots!

Ugh, I can already see a horrendous turnover from Rozsival or Redden in their own zone leading to a highlight-reel goal for Nash.

Sigh, let's go Rangers...
