On another note, Giroux and JVR are not seeing the ice enough. Only 13 and 11 minutes for them. The kids are playing well, they should be seeing 15-16 minutes. Andreas Nodl should not be out there more than JVR

Alright , thanks for the lesson. The Jeff Carter that I and Team Canada brass saw last year was a fluke. He is playing just as well this year. I guess I will shoot down Laliberte so that you don't get you panties in a bunch. Last I checked he knocked in 46 goals last season and he is on pace for more then a PPG this year, but Jones is outta here so it's gotta be someone. It's the little guys with mediocre talent who have to skate hard and hit hard every shift in this 82 game season to maintain their 3rd and 4th line spots and have the fans bow to them. This. I think Inebriator is the only one talking any sense. How can anyone call it garbage?? A goal is a goal. So when you guys talk about having a 40 goal scorer, remember to subtract all the garbage goals off that you seem to be so ashamed of and pass off as nothing...
Yes, we know he isn't playing well, more specifically lazy when i've been able to tune in... but he kept the team in the game and is contributing at a near PPG pace. What more really can you complain about?? Maybe this will be the game that sparks him??

Never missed a game, and I saw a much more determined Carter that was skating way harder for loose pucks and playing much stronger in the defensive zone. And I am by no means anti anyone on this team, just am very critical of guys I expect alot out of.

He was, but I respect what i saw him trying to do out there. He was making a concerted effort to get things going offensively but he's young and learning. I thought he has looked good despite the problems at the blueline

I liked that when he finally does shoot, he gets the shot through. That is why it is so frustrating when he rarely takes the shot.
