Tonight I think we'll see whether the team has truly turned a corner and has a chance to be a solid playoff team, or whether they're going to keep sputtering off and on for a few more weeks and get another chance to regroup after the break. I'm betting they have a strong showing tonight.
BTW, you need to actually update the GDT and not post the same one every time. On the injuries, Steen and Backes aren't even injured anymore...they are in the lineup. And the only injured player is D.J. King, not Roman Polak.
Like some others have said. This game is the true test to see if they will continue to kick butt or let their butt get kicked. I hope to see the same kind of in your face game they played in the past couple home games.
Man I would like to see Backes get off the snide and PK to finally get a goal. IMO, Backes has played like a man on fire the last few games with some big hits.... he just needs to get a bounce to go his way.
Way too many perimeter shots that game, they were shooting from the blueline but never from the point, we had maybe 2 chances in the slot the whole night and wasted every power play. Out shooting them did us no good because they buried the puck into the glove-side pad for most of the 2nd half of the game.
