It's All About Lappy

So, roughly 20 games into the season, how are you folks (or should I say "yinz"?) liking Lappy?

As advertised from his days with the Avs and Kings.

Nose is awesome. He is what I, and many on the board had hoped for. Plays rough tough hockey with alot of heart and doesn't back down from fisticuffs. Good pickup!

yinz is pittsburgh...edit it to: are you happy wit' Lappy?

Yeah, really, the "yinzers" are in Pixburgh. But yes, to answer the question, I think we're all Happy with Lappy.

I was a big fan of his while he was in Colorado. Still am.

The guy is the perfect 3rd liner.

My favorite thing that Lappy has done is it seems he's taught Carcillo the difference between being a real tough guy "agitator" type, and just being a d-bag.

The Carcillo-Betts-Lappy line has been the Flyers' most consistent line; each player has filled their role perfectly thus far, except for Betts' shoulder.

Lappy is great.

Carcillo was showing signs of progression last year before Betts was even brought here. Carcillo started taking less penalties with us last year because managements talked to him and told him to keep it cool.

Carcillo last year was showing significant signs of regression, in very short order.

Some gal in Colorado came up with "It's All About Lappy" T-shirts. Sold a truck load of them, too.

I (and most Avs fans) miss Lappy.

Glad he's still playing "his game" for you.

I think yinz is just a Pittsburgh area thing but, maybe I'm wrong? Lappy is good, he works hard and I think he has taken Carcillo under his wing and helped to teach him to control himself. It would be nice if the rest of our team played like Lappy (worked hard).

Pittsburgh and Philly are like night and day, you won't hear that out there unless it's from a Pittsburgh transplant.

Heart and soul guy that you just gotta love having on your team. I did the Briere fistpump at work when I read that Philly signed him.
