Brian Boyle, as evidenced a few days ago against the Lightning, is a pretty awful fighter for someone that is 6' 7". He struggled against Matt Walker, who is like 5 inches shorter than him, and Konopka.

Allen a terrible fighter? It's not his fault that your team had no enforcer, so he got to fight Rupp/Chara/Thornton lately. Losing to such guys doesn't make somebody a terrible fighter.

Boyle is not a great fighter, but he can hold his own. Walker is 6'4 236 so don't see what's so surprising.

Hal Gill
Mike Komisarek
Boris Valabik
Andrew Alberts
All this guys, exept probably Gill are decent. And how Valabik made this list? Because he lost to Tootoo once?

Andy Sutton
Keith Tklachuk
Eric Brewer
Whaat? Tkachuk? He isn't big and he is a good fighter.

this screams boris valabik. ever since crosby punched his nuts a few times last year and he lost to his idol chara he just hasn't been the same
This thred screams profanity. So 6'7 Valabik lost to 6'9 Chara and he is a terrible fighter now?

Problem with this thread is that to be considered a horrible fighter, you must first be considered a fighter.
I haven't seen anybody mention such guys as Ales Kotalik, Alexey Ponikarovsky, Viktor Kozlov etc. Instead people mention Bitz, Sutton even Valabik and Parros. Yeah, TERRIBLE fighters. Based on that Shawn Thornton and Brashear are terrbile(they lost to Valabik and Parros). Laraque is terrible. Everybody is terrible, trade everyone.

If you think the thread is stupid, don't post in it.

David Koci.

Maybe I'm the only one that thinks so, but he has been horrible for Colorado. Mind you, the team seems to win whenever he fights. But, imo, he has lost all his fights this years. He may just be the worst enforcer in the league.... Takes stupid penalties every game pretty much, well he didn't against Tampa (He has 1:12 ice time there though). He doesn't hit that much, and doesn't exactly defend anyone that much if someone goes after anyone.....

Of course this is all just my opinion...

You just don't like the player. That's fine with me. But the thread is about HORRIBLE fighters, and a guy with Koci's fight card certainly is far from horrible.

This year he fought 5 times.
1 win against 6'4 245 AHL enforcer Westgarth
1 draw against established NHL enforcer Shelley
3 losses against Colton Orr(Top 5 fighter in NHL), Derek Boogaard(6'8 270 TOP 5 fighter in NHL) and against 6'8 260 John Scott.

What's so horrible in this performance. Orr and Boogaard are Top fighters in the league, and Scott is a giant. And only Boogaard has really beaten Koci, Orr and Scott just won.

Koci of course needs to fight more, but judging by pure fighting ability he doesn't belong to this thread period.

P.S. There are worse enforcers in the league like Stortini for example or May.

Gill
Boogaard (not terrible, but certainly doesn't fight like 6'7")

Trent Hunter

http://www.dropyourgloves.com/Fights...=1&Player=2000

He's big, he can hit... but man oh man he is not a fighter.

I've never seen him fight, but I'm gonna go on a limb and say Marek Malik may be the biggest waste of six feet and six inches on earth.

My guess is that his heart wasn't really in it. He's in a no win situation.

That said, he still won the fight, did he not?

Hugh Jessiman. The one game I see him play (pre-season against Philly) he gets dropped by Steve Downie who Jessiman had 8 inches on.

A lot of these threads seem to always end up being official Habs players threads:

Most worthless player thread: Laraque

Player that is great on PP but sucks at 5-on-5: MAB

Big guys that can't fight: Al Gill

How about another one: guys that are semi-pests but are not quite in the Sean Avery league: Official Maxim Lapierre Thread.

Toughest guy in the league.... when the refs are in between him and his opponent.
