Good deal. guys solid. reminds me of Chad Lewis. Helps ease the pain of having to watch LJ Smith get hurt every year and suck.

Did he get a year for every pass that hit his hands and then the ground last Sunday?

You sir, just cracked the code to how Reid hands out contracts!

In all seriousness, this is where the organization shines, identify good young talent and lock them up longterm at a reasonable price.

So in a fews years he'll be the next disgruntled Eagle who signed a long term contract early.

this team is weak on the puck; they have no fight for the puck! they WILL NOT win many games playing this way; i blame coaching -- STEVENS -- since its been like this all game, for like the last 1000 games!

even the PP stinks anymore; blame coaching for that too, since its inconsistent beyond belief; this team has the talent; they just suck at executing it!

I'm feeling that for us. We're due for one of those that gets us all talking about how we could be legit and start to get on a nice hot streak. Of course, that means we'll have one of our classic letdowns either next week at NYG or the week after against the 49ers.

BTW Simmons' line about Andy Reid looking at the 2 point conversion chart was classic.

Coach Andy Reid is on the verge of finalizing a long-term contract extension with the Eagles, the team he has coached since 1999, league sources said.

The extension could be announced as early as this week.

Reid's current contract is scheduled to run through the 2010 season, but the new deal will tie Reid to the Eagles for years to come.
Dear God.

Yeah, I'm bipolar on Simmons, but he's the only voice in the national media who seems to realize just how incompetent Reid is.

Yep.

No Matt Ryan, no Michael Turner. Down 5 offense starters. They're toast.
