Agreed! Gilbert is the softest d-man I can recall playing for the Oilers.

True, glad we stuck it out with Smid though. Watch Greene tonight, bet he causes at least one dumb penalty by trying to be to aggresive in front of the net.

Also predicting another Oiler win. 4-0

O'sully, Brule, Potluny, Penner

Seriously that sucks. I'm feeling a Dustin Penner and Ales Hemsky show. In a win or a loss, no idea.

Oilers win 5-2.

O'Sully against his old team, Viser likewise, Penner for two, and Brule because he is dope!

Oh, hai, Nostradamus here. I am predicting a 5-2 win in favor of the Edmonton Oilers.

Penner x2, Horcoff, Gilbert and Gagner with the goals.

Good day.

As long as Gilbert is on this team, shutouts will be few and far between.

But he doesn't make dumb penalties.

This is because he doesn't get close enough to the offender to take a penalty. He is like an endangered panda, other players are like "Wow, I have never seen one of these up close before."

Is it just me or does it seem like Sportsnet has the main camera more zoomed in on the ice tonight? I find it looks horrible in SD and you can't see a lot of whats going on. It sort of reminds me of those horrible low camera angles in Dallas and Florida.

Poti was softer. He has actually rounded out his game somewhat, and isn't nearly as big of a defensive liability as he once was with better positioning and stick work. If Gilbert sticks around hopefully he can do the same.

Our team's inability to win a face off is brutal to watch. I like the attempt to play physical so far though
