It's certainly always possible that Carcillo does something of the sort, but playing with Laperriere seems to be turning him into a pretty good player. As long as things continue to go smoothly for the guy I'd be thrilled to be able to stick iLap-Betts-Carcillo out there against Malkin's line.

Well, the good thing is that the Pens have no real threat on the wing, so it probably wouldn't turn out as bad as I imagined.

betts and laperriere i have no issue with. they're defensively sound. carcillo is the Wild Card out there. he's either going to be a good energy guy on a checking line that can deal out some pain and a little offense, or he's going to be that crazy guy that cuts your brakes.

I have no problem if he cuts Malkin's brakelines.....

Just don't waste a suspension creaming someone like Cooke.
