Well, as it usually does in situations like this, the PP cost us the game tonight.

Horrible, horrible excuse for a powerplay.

Still laughing at the fact that it was Greene with the GWG.

This team was dead offensively tonight.

As Ryan said, the PP is just god-awful. They definitely had their chances to put this one away.

I didn't like what I said tonight... very lackluster effort it seemed.

Tough one, the Oilers were probably the better team tonight but they gotta start simplifying things on the PP and getting shots to the net in those situations.

JDD let in two softies I thought.

Cogliano played maybe his best game as an Oiler (or at least in a long while) but didn't get rewarded.

...and big surprise, the Oilers lose yet another game.
Almost a waste of time repeating the same stuff over and over again about why this team is going to miss the playoffs.

Oh well...such is the life of the fan that cheers for a perennial bottom feeder.

I actually saw it coming. Greene's name was in the back of my head all game long. There are ex Oilers on every damn team in this league and they all beat us.

I've been saying it since training camp. This is a lottery team. Tamblow simply haven't given Quinn the tools to win a game. Peca is still available.

On another note, Brule was flying tonight, and was given quality opportunity.

The Oilers lose late, on a goal from a guy with 4 career goals (though it was a nice shot), Hemsky gets destroyed and there's no retribution.

Gagner pulling his Sully impression, not so much scoring tonight.

Sully was good tonight so was JDD.

PP with Hemsky = No shots on net

PP without Hemsky = No shots on net

So what's going on?

LA didn't even look that good. It's just that the Oilers looked like absolute dog ****. At home. Well rested. **** off. If they don't care why the hell should I.

Outshot 35-23. What's the excuse?

Yeah...I burst out laughing myself as Greene blows one by JDD for his first goal in 32 games.

Well the Oilers sucked less then in that case.

I thought we played OK in the 2nd and 3rd. Could've had more energy (as usual).

Very off topic but quite the statement game going on for the Hawks tonight... Hossa with a goal and they're outshooting the Sharks 27-8 late in the second
