The phoenix game was PPV, not streamed afaik, and if theres a game people take a night off its that one. I posted in the thread but I don't think many people even saw that game.

Really? So those people should have known this team was going to be garbage back in the summer?
Wow...thats quite the indictment of the direction of this organization.
How many posters on this board felt the Oilers were going fail back in the summer? To a lot of Oiler fans (many on this board) Quinn was supposed to be the difference maker.

I sure miss the days when we had Weight, Guerin and Smyth as our first line.

It was a pretty weak draft, unfortunately. If you take a look at the list of draftees, it's quite unimpressive overall, and one of the weaker ones in recent years.

Im sorry, what is it they are watching now? Doesnt look very competitive to me. Im thinking we should aim to be better, or we could sign some more old guys in the summer and pay them too much money. Pretty soon I wont give a rip.

I hope this means Smid gets the game winner against the Ducks.

Pretty standard game/effort for this year.

Playing not to lose.

Maybe Oiler fans might want to share a few of the Cups they've won with cities like Vancouver that haven't won **** while we're talking about "fair".
You are missing the point. Any organization that insults the paying fans by tanking the season is finished in terms of their credibility.

Ask the fans in Pittsburgh what they think about that.

Hanzus better get suspended, that's all I can, or the Oilers need to file a grievance with the league.

It's been apparent since the off season, when nothing was done to improve this team.

It's almost 25 games in. You know how easy it is to sell Oilers tickets? If people don't know the quality of hockey being played, then it's their own fault for not following the team. They can easily ditch their tickets to people that will watch hockey no matter what. I don't feel sorry for people if they aren't being proactive consumers. I wouldn't pay 100 bucks to watch this team. Why should I feel sorry for people who do?

Tunnel vision.

He could've had a few assists tonight if anybody on the club could finish.

Sully isn't exactly being setup by anybody good either. The chances he's getting he's making them himself.

No wonder. LA had three and a half days off. They were practicing their cheapshots during their time off.

This team obviously needs to be better but if throwing those paying customers under the Bus is the answer then this team is even more bush league than I thought was possible.

That's what sucks even more about this loss, L.A. was ready to be had and still won on the road..... Very discouraging to say the least

I went to my first game in 2 years on Saturday. It was more enjoyable to watch the Hawks play than anything else.
