Viggo touting for the Habs again

Viggo Mortensen, one of the top movie stars on the planet, is on a publicity tour for his new film The Road. He was wearing a Habs t-shirt and tuque and was more interested in talking about the Habs than his movie. He told the Boston reporter that Montreal would beat the Bruins on December 4. I put something on my site suggesting we get him to sing the national anthem at that game. I had hoped we'd get William Shatner to do it but I don't think he cares at all about hockey, whereas Viggo has the passion.

Thought this was hilarious:

"For his role in Eastern Promises (2007), he stated that part of his performance was inspired by Russian hockey player Alex Kovalev."

Have her sing the national anthem, or jump around... either or...

Misa Campo (born January 28, 1988 in Montréal, Quebec)

And that's why... I love Quebec.

She could just stand around and I'd be much happier than having wigman singing the anthems.

Fire both Gainey and Martin and let my man Viggo handle the coach and GM duties for the Habs.

For real that guy is the *****.

If he can sing, man, that would be a great idea. I'll bet you he would get a standing ovation.

He has been a fan for years. I think he grew up in Vermont or Upper state New York or some such god forsaken place and fell in love with the Habs.

What's best is when he was shooting THE HISTORY OF VIOLENCE he went onto the set one day with his Habs sweater on. The crew were all Make Believe Fans. It was shot in Toronto.

How about making her the new GM? She can attract star players.

Why is it called "Upstate" New York? I mean people living at the bottom of the state of NY dont say they live in "Downstate" New york...
