Team is injured, and he was playing over his head...while on the hot-streak.

Realistically, he's not quite as good as solid as he was on that tear, but not as bad his numbers suggest the last 3 games. He's somewhere between.

The refs don't **** us on that disallowed goal and it's a different game. They need to lick their wounds and pick themselves back up.

What did Carcillo do? I missed the first two periods, though I heard he got a 10 minute misconduct.

Pronger said "We need twenty men to play... we have to become a third period team, we had that chance today... no excuses..."

He pretty much, in coach speak, said that the misconduct was ********. He also said that Carcillo is playing the game the right way, defending his teammates, and helping the team win.

I thought they played well.
Emery was average.
The connolly goal (x1) was a bad one.
The other 3, not his fault at all (hell, carle scored their first goal!)

Carcillo though Rivet (I think) twice and then started. In the second fight the other guy did something when the fight was over and both where on the ice and Carcillo aired his grievance to the refs who then assessed him with the misconduct.

From what I heard Rivet gouged his eye or something.

Also, Carcillo, after getting the misconduct, wouldn't shut up or sit down in the penalty box and was sent to the locker room for the rest of the period.

I thought the breakout looked bad today. Passing was off again too. Decent effort overall, but seemed gassed in the 3rd at times.

I ain't buying the disallowed goal changing the game, bottom line is we went in to the 2nd period with the lead anyway, and we blew it. We have to start playing a consistent 60 mins and until we do we are not going to contend with the big dogs.

It's a stupid ****ing natural reaction anymore, and a ****ing annoying one. We GET IT. You want him fired. Let's just put the blame on the coach and none of the players, who are the ones who mostly control the game. No, they're too good to be held responsible for their own actions.

Ugh, another disappointing game. I really thought they'd come out in the third period and put the Sabres away. A fairly soft goal given up by Emery and Miller playing well were the Flyers' undoing.

Really hoping the injuries would stop. I'd like to see Gagne back, and Betts is sorely missed (though he has been all year whenever he has been out). Lappy is a warrior for coming back after losing those teeth - I can't imagine how swollen his mouth must have been.

I dunno. The Flyers seemed incapable of having a good power play today. I can't figure out why they can't seem to enter the zone with the talent they have offensively.
