For what did they blow the whistle if Richie didn't get a penalty anyways? Puck was certainly not covered up and the goal was also still where it should be.
Refs simply do what they want.

Puck was in the net? You can't exactly scoop it out and keep on playing.

Then it's a ****ing goal! If there is no reason to stop play before the puck is in the net, it's a ****ing goal! That's the ****ing point I'm trying to make here!

Well yeah, it was a goal. The ref just made some **** up on that play. It's one or the other - goalie interference or a goal.

Chaos, it's only a goal if it's the other guys. Not when it's a Flyer. Anyone remember friggen' Staal sitting in the net and it counted?
How in the world could that goal be waived off if there was no goaltender interference on the play? For what reason would the whitle have blown? (which it didn't)
NHL officiating continues to amaze me. From now one if you are about to get scored on just drill someone into your own goalie and it won't count
Pronger's long dump in slap shots from over the red line will never work if our forwards keep doing what they are doing. They need to be skating to hit that blue line as he is shooting it in and then busting it to get to the puck. They are just standing still until he shoots it then they go. They are never the first person to the puck, and when they do get there it is only one guy. It needs to be two guys on the puck while he is dumping it all the time. I don't know if Stevens is the one in control of that situation (Chief?), but someone needs to tell them this info. Its pretty basic and I would assume someone behind our bench sees this too.

Silly Inebriator....the NHL refs have no basis to which they make their decisions. They make it up as they go along so next time it won't be allowed and then a couple games later it will be allowed again. They just do whatever the **** they want.
