If he is officially announced as retired his salary will not count against this years cap.
Otherwise we will have to buy-out his contract ala Tucker, Belfour and it will tie our hands for years!

In all seriousness, who's the man under the mascot and how much did he get paid? XD

I always found it weird that we're in a division against bears yet have a bear mascot. Perhaps he was a spy of some sort - sent in to gauge interest in Phil Kessel and just how much the Leafs would throw away to get him on the Bruins.
You can never trust those damn bears. They may be different colours, but the bears always stick together when it counts, and we let Carlton's happy-go-lucky ways cloud our judgement and vision. Now we're paying for it. At least we can rid the team of this horrible mistake. Retirement, getting sniped, it's all the same in mascot world.
GOOD RIDDANCE CARLTON YOU DAMN TRAITOR

Kypper embarasses himself yet again. That was pretty funny though but it was more of the "laughing at, not with" kind of funny.

I heard Burke wants to make the game more sexy. While Carolina has cheerleaders, Cliff Fletcher will now running around in a speedo

News Report:
Jason Blake has been assigned the new position of Team Mascot. He will wear a blindfold and randomly fire t-shirts into the chest of people at the ACC.

Where's Zeke with Carlton's stats compared to other mascot's stats?

Feel bad for the guy, was well on his ways to the pros until him and Diamond from the Blue Jays were caught in a parked car in Cherry Beach in a compromising position, not to mention the crack pipe found in the backseat. At least he's trying to bounce back by cleaning up and working his way up through the minors, no one has heard of her since.....

I find the idea of the guy missing the obvious joke far more hilarious.

Or "Linda Lovelace" instead of "skunk".
