Vokoun was taken out on a stretcher after getting wacked (accidentally) by Keith Ballard's stick. Looked like it got him in the temple.

Many people blame it on alcohol... I personally believe his injury in New Jersey was fatal... He never was the same anymore. This, and I think he was a product of Koivu, a bit like Zednik and Tanguay's goal scoring last year. I also think many people here overhyped him. I always saw him as a 20-25 goals, 40-45 points player to be.

For your examples, there are the Souray, Ribeiro, Streit and Grabovski? I guess that's not so bad.
How were Souray and Streit better with their new team? From what I see on the ice, they are very similar, and performed at a very high level with us. We let them walk knowing it. I also don't agree with Grabovski as he was never really part of our team and wasn't kicked out because of his play.. Only Rbeiro and Hainsey stand out in my opinion, and even then, Hainsey isn't really on his way to the hall of fame.

Really... Ballard should be suspended, even though it clearly was an accident, one shouldn't even be allowed to swing a stick like this, whatever the reason may be.

Higgins was still a good player the following season in 2007-08, potting 27 goals and 52 points.

Gaborik just scored his 20th goal in his 25th game.

I would always be scared of injuries, but damn that guy would look great in a Habs jersey right now.

Nice, 4-2 Pens. Rangers are going to be a .500 team despite a ridiculously hot start.

Hat trick for Mike Rupp to make it 5-2!

Hopefully Colorado hangs on against TB. I've seen too many BS TB comebacks out of nowhere the last few weeks to feel good about it though.

Afinogenov prevents a 3 point game in ATL with 6 seconds left! Phew.
