Crosby shouldn't be Captain, not enough experience...perhaps Doan or S.Niedermayer or Iginla or...wait where's Lecavalier?

I wouldn't have Toews or Green in my line-up, and I would play Brodeur instead of Luongo but that's just my opinion, you can hope for any combination

The main idea is good though, i like having Thornton with Heatley and Stamkos, and Doughty as an extra

Perry - Getzlaf - Iginla

Morrow - Mike Fisher - Shane Doan (shut down line)

St.louis will give more energy to the top line,IMO Iginla is better suited with Getzlaf and Perry. Marleau,Thornton,Heatley are arguably the best line in the NHL right now and would greatly inhance team Canada's chemistry.

It's hard to keep Marleau off of team Canada given the chemistry that he has with Thornton and Heatley.

I really want to see Crosby as the captain because he thrives under pressure to a degree that I just don't think he'd let us lose... Buuuuut it's not going to happen. I'm thinking Neidermayer will be Captain, which would also be a great pick.

Do we have to take Doan? I mean, he's way down on my list of players that I'd take. I don't like the idea of Canada bringing checkers to make a shutdown line. Any combination of super talented forwards will make a better checking or "shut down" line 10 times out of 10.

Every line is incredibly scary.
Every line will be feared. Their 4th line isn't as offensive but they're great shutdown and one of the best for faceoffs.

Every pairing has a big hard hitting guy and a smart positional guy. Every one of these guys are great offensively.
