Which U.S. Players would make Team Canada?

I hear all the time about how much better the Canadian team is than the U.S., and how their B team would be so great.....

So which players on the current U.S. Roster would have made team Canada, and which Canadian players would have been left off?

Basically....make a N.A. team.........

I think Erik Johnson may have got picked, for experience if anything. Maybe ahead of Seabrook or even in place of Doughty.

I think Miller would be challenging for the starting spot, I guess the only thing working against him is the fact that one goalie is taken along for experience rather than to play.

Erik Johnson over Drew Doughty? People are talking Norris nomination for Drew Doughty. This would not have happened.

I'm a Blues fan and a huge EJ fan, but have you forgotten about the season he lost to injury?

Games played:
Doughty - 142
EJ - 129
Seabrook - 373 + 17 playoff

Parise and Miller, I'm surprised some of you think Parise wouldn't make it.

I'm pretty sure he was talking about gaining Olympic experience

I'll take Ryan Suter over any of our defencemen not named Doughty, Keith or Weber. Without hesitation.

You would rather have Ryan Suter over Dan Boyle or Scott Niedermayer?!?!? Good thing you don't pick teams.

Miller, Suter, Parise

I'd take Suter over Seabrook, Neidermeyer, and Pronger, no doubt

Parise and Miller for sure. I doubt any others would. I've said it since the beginning, Parise should be Canadian.

This isn't to insult any American fans, but I think that if Canada had a second team, team B, and they Merged with the U.S.A. team to make a hybrid, it would be half Canadian Half U.S. players.

Someone take the time to post Team B Canada / Team U.S.A hybrid

We'd definitely be seeing a Suter-Weber pairing.. Miller would have made the team over Fleury. Parise would have made it over Bergeron who was and still is a mistake on this team.

Thats all I can really think of.

This.

They would have to make room for Parise and Kane, likely would have kicked out some of the San Jose boys or Perry or Staal or something. Kesler is a must for a 4th line kind of role, and has played wing effectively before so could replace Bergeron or Richards.

Miller would be Canada's starting goalie, or at least should be. Don't think any defenseman would crack Canada's roster.

Ryan Miller is the best goalie in the world right now. He'd bump any starting goalie on any other team.
