It might be just me, but I'd like a little more "color" from the color analyst...something candid, something about the play, the little nuances that makes a good play a good play.
There are worse radio guys. I listened to the Ducks guys a few times over the last 2 seasons and they reek.

I like Heeter...I could do without Nash. Doesn't bring anything to the table in my opinion.

Its more about quality than quantity. The volume will go on a game by game basis.
Amazimg were still above .500 with injury problems and some players slacking in the process.
Every month passing is going to get harder and December is going to be hell.

2 games vs San Jose
Calgary
Ottawa
LA
Vancouver
Anaheim
Just to name a few!

We need too do better than 6-7-1 in order to stay in the playoff race.
If we can win 90% of our games and beat SJ in both meetings then will be a serious contender for the winning the division.

Who is the Player(s) of the month for the Coyotes.
Bryz was deserving for Oct but he started coming back down to Earth in November.

Vandermeer ? Yandle? Who?

Na it's clearly more than that. A lot of our GDT that run way long go into 'post game' areas which are very general coyotes talk. Take a look down the board and you'll see many short GDT's.

My apologies boys, the highlights are on NHL on the fly.

Lombos goal was insanely set up by Doaner, very good goal.

Vandys 1st was a classic rebound for a D-man, and from the looks of it Doan should have got the goal on the last one to end the game.

Can you post a link to the highlights?

If you have NHL network it will be on all night, unfortunately I don't have any highlights on the computer.

It was Lepisto that set up Lombo with a beaut, and Doan didn't touch the puck on the second Vandermeer goal.

This is no excuse. Spamming F5 on the NHL.com Game Summary page is --ing riveting, and if you can't appreciate that, you're not a real fan.

No Mueller to debate over for 3 extra pages....speaking of which....How about that hit Lombo took in the corner against the Stars to set up Korpikoski's 2nd goal. That's the type of hit Mueller has to be willing to take...but he won't.

What's the Coyotes record without Mueller?

I do the same. I almost never post or even read these board during game time. I don't really understand why people want page after page of GDT anyway. How many posts do we need about who scored each goal?

Me three. I almost can't watch the feed live, anymore. All of those commercials make me fall asleep.

I'll fourth that sentiment. I've been doing this for about the past 2-3 seasons now that I've had a DVR. Sometimes I won't watch the game for a couple of days if I get busy, but it's nice being able to breeze through a game in 60 minutes flat...especially with that handy fwd 30 seconds button that skips the whistles.

It is nice to have the GDT when the game wasn't on TV though. Then I definitely read through them. I think they serve as a post-mortem after the game is over and we all either need to gloat or ***** over what happened during the game.

This is a message board, not a chatroom. The GDTs that go for 500 posts usually feature page after page of "WOOOO!!!!" and "NOOOO!!!!" It's correlative to the size of a team's fanbase on HF but in no way indicative of any sort of productive discourse.

With this win, the Yotes now have 15 wins. That's only 3 less wins than the top 2 teams - San Jose and Pittsburgh.
Heck, we're only 1 win less than Chicago and Calgary (2nd and 3rd in the Western Conference).

I use the DVR too. But I start watching about an hour after the game starts. That way I can fast forward through the commercials and I finish about the same time as the live game.

I hate to watch it any later than that because I don't want to know what happens before I see it. I just have to avoid hf and my text messages until the end.

Hi guys,

I don't get to watch the Yotes alot, and am hoping one of you can help me out.

Could you guys tell me what your forward lines usually look like? Are they pretty much set or do they get juggled a lot?

I'm trying to get an idea of who plays with who and in what situations for my hockey pool.

Thanks!

Maybe it's just me, but Nash has a similar twang/cadence to his speech as Dennis Miller [minus the humor of course].
