The water bottle could have save Game 4?

Well, I'm not saying that it is Theo's fault, but I think that a goalie with experience like Theodore could have put the water bottle closer to the goal line on the top of his net, so the cameras won't be at 100% conclusive that the puck was in the net. I remember over the last few years, many goaltenders put the water bottle in a certain way to obstruct the camera to see whether the puck went in or not. Next time, I hope that Theo will think about that.

You are funny.

Habs can find a better way than that to win, I think and I hope.

He could have also put a water keg on the net, and his collection of Picasso's paintings, so they wouldn't have allowed the goal...

Well, I'm not saying that it was the turning point. It's just that there are some little tricks that goaltenders do to help their cause.

Didn't Fernandez do that in the playoffs last year?

pretty funny that theodore has to worry about where to put his water bottle just to find a way to win

I got an idea!

Why not put twenty water bottles on the net, so any replay would be futile?

Damn, poor guy. He's so sleepy these times. How do you want him to think about such little things?......

However, he should ask Raycroft about the best way to wake up on a crucial playoff morning.....

Last goal was so evident you didnt even need the slow-mod replay to see it... Unfortunatly, no way the officials could have miss it.

Theo should just bring a jug to every game and stick it above the Cammera.

There is like 3-4 cams they can view from.

Also I am disapointed in Markov..Not in the game he hand but the last play.

WHY DIDN'T HE HOLD THE STICK?? OR HOLD THE PLAYER..WRAP THE PLAYER..TAKE A PENALTY

I think they have a water bottle holder built in to the top of the nets now and the tenders have to keep it in that.

Lots of different views showed it went in anyway.

Habs players are too busy doing that (stick in the lense) when they are in the penalty box....

From my point of view it wasn't Markov fault.... CJ did an error .... he should had Rivet in front of the net ....

Just so to end this discussion, at least the main topic. There are many cameras that can zoom over the net. Putting his water bottle to prevent the referee from seeing the puck doesn't take into account that
#1 Basically, the goaltender doesn't know where the puck is going to end up.
#2 If one camera is blocked by the water bottle, others will see the puck without any interference.

Not to mention that the goal itself was pretty obvious...
