I'm not good at thinking up line names. Maybe we could incorporate something with the fact that Thornton was drafted 1st overall, and Heatley and Marleau were both drafted 2nd overall.

The Manhattan Boys (Area code 212)?

Ugh, I suck at this. **** it.

The Line that I refuse to call anything until they deliver a Game 6 victory, a Cup, and a Parade (in that order).

Once those three things are accomplished, I will call them The Line that I used to refuse to call anything until they delivered a Game 6 victory, a Cup, and a Parade (in that order).

Personally, I don't expect the line to stay together because there's only one puck and Marleau and Heatley can both put the same puck in the net. Seeing Marleau back on the second line with Pavs will be the best for the team especially in the playoffs. Once Seto gets back to speed, he will be on the top 6 and Seto/Clowe can play with either the Marleau Pavs pair, or the Thornton Heatley pair. Even if not and the line sticks, a 4 game line is not worthy of a name IMO.

Normally I think coming up with line names is pretty lame, but what the hell, I'll take a crack at it.

Since they're all Canadian, and since they're the Sharks "A" line, I give you:

The "eh" line.

Burger line makes a lot of sense cause Heatley used to be on the "Pizza" line.

id honestly rather have seto on the second line, why does the top line need two snipers?

This year, I would say the top line has two snipers with Marleau demonstrating his best shot percentage as a pro this year (better than Seto last I checked). But I went into my thinking in depth on the GDT so I'll post that link rather than reiterate: http://hfboards.com/showpost.php?p=2...&postcount=513

I read that at the time and dont disagree with you completely. The best thing about Patty is you can put him anywhere.

No matter who the winger is on the top line, Heater is going to be a decoy. Its that simple, the gwg Thornton scored the other night was because the entire D closed on heater. Its nothing new and its nothing hes not used to.

Honestly, its not a bad issue to have I just get concerned with the defensive side of the top line without patty up there.
