I was reading Hockeybuzz and Eklund has rumor that actually makes sense.

Cogliano for Dubinsky.

I know its eklund and I will take flak for even reading his site, but try and tell me that this deal doesn't make a lot of sensefor the oil.

It doesn't make as much sense for the Rangers.

Exactly and the fact that Eklund said it it will never happen.

Damnit people you did good last season not posting much about Eklund and I almost forgot about him. Now this year everyone is persistent in bringing his garbage back here.

Well if you take away your bovious bias agaist him and just look at the names this deal might work.

The ranger are in a funk and they could use a shake up, and the oil are free falling and need to get some grit ans size. I am not saying Cogs straight up for Dubinsky, but the basis of a deal is there.

The basis of Eklund getting your attention and getting you to click on his webpage are there too. Win-win for both sides.

Did anyone consider for a moment that Eklund could have an agreement with the powers at HF that make his absurd "proposals" somehow legitimate speculation and thus, not deleted by HF mods? I mean we already know that the guy is full of you-know-what, so what makes Eklund a legitimate source on HF?

I'm guessing by "rumour" he means the monthly poll he saw that gets made on the Poll Board comparing the two players.

As long as we don't have to take Drury or Redden with him

Cogliano's value is at an all time low right now. I remember a thread last year about Cogliano Vs Dubinksy. It was a pretty even split in votes. This year I'd take Dubinksy for Cogliano and run. Key sign that this isn't a time to sell low.. We need to wait a bit on this kid. At the end of this year he'll sign a bargain basement contract. He'll break out of his funk and will become a more valuable asset. I don't think giving up Cogliano + for a player who may or may not turn out to be better is a good idea.

That doesn't answer the question DSF. He want's to know if Jagr loves Dubinsky. Come on, get in the game

Oh, sorry.

TMZ has no reports on this budding romance.

I agree..... there must be promotional dollars going to HF from hockeybuzz.

With the amount of censoring and gag orders that the mods like to throw down here, its unfathomable that they would help to perpetuate the Eklund 'legend'... unless of course there is something in it for them.

Someone want to tell me whats so special about Dubinsky. To me he is a 2nd line Center at best with some size. His numbers are very average for someone who has so much hype attached to his name. Cogs has been better then Dubinsky not by much but better in his career so how does this deal favor the Oil. Dubinsky has more hype for some reason And i find it strange. I have seen him play he is not the second coming of you know who the way some on this board like to think he is.

If we are trading Cogliano plus for him it better be Moreau. Otherwise it is a hell no from me unless some one can fill me in on the reason he is better then Cogs.
