Scott Gomez is and he's centering the secobnd line with Max Pacioretty and Tavis Moen. That's a vote of confidence for Tomas Plekanec, who temains between Miker Cammalleri and Sergei Kostitsyn.
lol Pat, re-read yourself before posting..

lol, Gionta skating with the team says Pat. But he wasn't.

So either Gomez or D'Agostini will be back tomorrow it seems with Wyman sent down. What the heck will our lines be if Gomez is the only one back?
I think its possible that both guys will be back, since the team is down to 10 forwards at this point.

I would have like to see D'Agostini instead of Moen on that line

-

Kosty skated after the practice. Good sign.

Gomez said he felt well and will meet the doctors tomorrow (to get the green light).

D'Ago has the green light from the doctors to play tomorrow.

I dont know if its been mentioned but Martin said that Gill has been cleared by the doctors and now its just a matter of conditioning for him.

I'm guessing he's about 7 days away.

When Markov comes back, I'd like to see Gill and Bergeron scratched..but I doubt Martin agrees with that.

Markov-Mara
Hamrlik-Spacek
Gorges-O'Byrne

I'd imagine we'd see O'Byrne scratched before Gill..

Gonna be hard to keep Bergeron out of the lineup given his offensive contributions...yeah he handles that puck like a grenade sometimes, but with the risk, comes reward and that can't be ignored. It's going to be a tough task for the coaching staff once all the dmen return from injury...

How about Cammy joking that Moen's hometown doesn't have TV's?

Don't know if this was posted yet, but as per Luc Gelinas on the RDS website, Hal Gill also took part in practice, has received the green light and could make a return into the line-up against the Leafs tomorrow.

I think he meant "back" on the ice, not necessarily back in a Habs uniform.

Anyways, I really don't see why everyone is freaking out. Let him get over the injury properly, practice with the team and then make his debut in a Habs jersey. I hate it when a team rushes a player that is injured, solely because they don't want to fall down the rankings.

Hat trick against TML. If it's Toskala, then two hat tricks.

Book it.

No, it's back to practice tomorrow for Gill. I know they wrote it like it seems he could return tomorrow to the lineup, but JM said it was the green light to return to practice.

Agreed, he's our highest scoring Dman, so it's tough to argue he'll be scratched.
Souray was completely horrendous defensively but he was still playing a little over 23min.

Bergeron isn't Souray, and that's why even on a completely crippled D squad he only plays about 16min.
His offensive production though will not be overlooked. On our team that allowed 10goals more than scored, we'll need all the offensive production possible.

That being said, I have a hard time believing Markov, Spacek, Hamrlik, Gorges and Mara would even be considered as scratches ahead of Bergeron. With the way he's been playing, I also have a hard time seeing O'Byrne scratched especially not if it's to replace him with a 5'9 Dman.

I do see Bergeron used as a 4th line Forward though.

Gomez-Cammy-Gionta
Plek-Kost Broz
D'Ago-Pouliot-MaxPac
Metro-Lappy-Bergeron
(Laraque-Chipper)

The way you arrange you want to arrange the bottom 6 is up for discussion and it will depend on how they all perform.
But I can see how we'd prefer to keep Bergeron on our squad instead of Pyatt-White-Laraque-Chipper as his contribution will be much more important than what those guys can bring.

It depends how well he'd play as a forward too but I think this is the most likely scenario to happen.

As much as I would love a English MTL newspaper to be a force in the MTL media, we have to admit that it simply is not. The day of thr printed daily is almost over, and it seems clear that the Gazette saw the writing on the wall and is only mailing it from here on in.

At this point, they might as well keep Pat Hickey on board.

Then, I pictured Gionta with a mullet.

Gomez back tomorrow would be huge. Seeing Chipchura on the PP was nauseating... Hopefully Gomez can come back and really get his game going--we have yet to see the top 2 lines, in any capacity, really play well at the same time.

Also A.Kost skating almost definitely means he doesn't have a break or a fracture in his foot, right? I still think it was a deep bruise that was too hard to skate on initially.
