I'm sure he'd do better than most our forwards anyway

Yes
Oh god no
Why?
Definitely
Eh
Oh yeah

Anyways it's more like:
silverfish is the GM
silverfish is the coach
Dagoon44 is asst coach (I like your tough mentality, Rangers need that)
Dave Maloney is asst coach
Rammer for President

Ok do people not like Wayne as a coach because of the money or think he is a bad coach ? I didn't think he was a good coach personally.

From his record in PHX The great one was not a great coach. Now alot can be said about the lack of talent he had in PHX. But there isn't much more in the coffers here than he had there.

i could see him getting some sort of job within our organization. his kids are grown up, he doesn't need to stay out west and our front office is loaded with his boys. barnett was his agent, slats....mess.....it makes sense

Does anyone even listen to the interviews? It doesn't sound like he is thinking about coming back to the NHL at all. He said is place is with his son right now.

Gretzky doesn't exactly seem to be all that great of a Head Coach, if you ask me.

And exactly what credentials and experience do these guys have, for any of those jobs?

None, but Sather has all the credentials in the world and the team has struggled to compete with the better teams. He got lucky with Jagr and Henrik. Luck is always part of a champion.... but just sayin'

Gretzky would fit the pattern for the Rangers next coach. A mellow players coach....

Big Time in NYC though....lots of attention on him and the team if they win or lose....unlike the Yotes.

I could totally see a GRAND TRINE in NY

Sather - President
Messier - GM
Gretzky - Coach

This really wouldnt surprise me one bit. Especially since the team sucks so bad right now.

I don't think I need to say much on why Gretzky should not be head coach...the man was an absolutely TERRIBLE coach who had no idea what the hell he was doing.

If it's time to move away from the 94 Rangers, it's certainly time to move away from the 80s Oilers.
