Officially last place in the Western Conference

With the Wild winning in OT tonight, we are officially in the basement of the Western conference, yippeee. And yet, the team refuses to do anything in terms of trades. Wake up, it is not working, time to re shape this team.

They're going to evaluate the team when everyone is healthy according to Tambellini.

August?

No worries!

Shawn Horcoff is a top 15 NHL pivot and will lead us back to the dance.

I am sick of losing and not making the playoffs. I have had it. Lowe is a joke.

A trade is going to reshape this team? I don't see that happening this season.

Let the team get healthy, re-evaluate the situation at that point. Then move forward, make some good moves at the trade deadline and then reformat in the summer. This season isn't going to be a good one with all these injuries so why try to save it? Give your young players lots of experience.

The best way to improve this team is to keep losing.

He would if he could actually Do All The Little Things. Unfortunately, he also can't do any of the Big Things.

Waive him.

Haven't you seen his Corsi? The guy is such a tough sledder. He could race dogs in Alaska if he wanted to.

I'm not really upset that Horcoff can no longer handle the simple tasks - we wouldn't want to waste Horcoff's laser shot by taking all those draws.

Yeah, all those defensive zone drawa killed his game last season but now that he doesn't have to take them anymore he's lighting it up.

Who knew?

You bet that the Leafs would finish ahead of the Oilers?

I would rather see them tank. I'm a fan of the team long term, it doesn't really bother me that the team can't win now. Give the young guys all the ice time, trade a vet or two in return for another pick/prospect. We can take on a horrendous contract for the remainder of the year since Hemsky is out (i've been thinking of starting a thread but someone else should). It would be a mistake not to take advantage of the cap space; we should be a relief valve for a contender. Send a contending team a good player for a crap player with a giant cap hit, who is UFA status next season, and another first rounder. Hell, sit Kabby out an extra 20-30 games after he's healthy for precautionary reasons. Give him a good long rest. Bulin will get this team into the final playoff slot if he comes back.

Yes.

I saw the train wreck from a long distance.

Even predicted the Hemsky injury based on his high risk style of play.
