Hensick vs Chipchura

I dont know much about either player but wouldnt it have made sense to grab hensick on waivers instead of giving out a 4th round pick for chipchura?? or is chipchura much better than hensick

Hensick fast.

Chip slow.

Hensick small.

Chip big.

Hensick soft.

Chip tough.

-At this point I prefer the big and tough elements more.

I don't think it is that simple.

Another big issue is we can't just send other players down to our AHL affiliate as we don't have one. So if we add a player we have to make sure he will stick with the club otherwise we are left in a position to try and find a spot for a player in the AHL when that clearly is a difficult thing for us to do.

Not having an AHL affiliate hinders us in so many ways...

Excellent point. BTW, I haven't been paying close attention. Does anyone know whether we've made any progress towards obtaining an AHL affiliate?
