Valiquette on Waivers

Boucher has played ok after his first start but i feel that Valiquette is alot better. Homer prolly wouldnt do it but would you?? if he feel all the way to his to be able to claim him.

1. Claim V and demote/trade Boosh
2. leave things as they are.

Organization has obvious loyalty to Boosh.

Also, he hasn't been all that terrible lately.

Doubt he falls to us. Doubt even more that we claim him if he does.

Boosh had a bad pre season, and a bad first game. He's been pretty good since then

Valiquette is not a better goaltender than Boucher.

NY's defense is not cut out to play defense.

Lundqvist has a .910 SV PCT. and a 2.74 GAA. I guess Boosh is better than him too.

Not even worth going into. Way to be ridiculous.

Valiquette is no more valid a backup than Boucher is.

Maybe a month ago. Maybe in a month. Right now, Boucher is doing just fine. However, I have no faith that this will continue for the balance of the season.

Boosh had a rough start but it looks like he's coming along.

No thanks.

Aside from having a sick goalie mask, Valiquette is pretty useless and the Leafs might pick him up. I'd rather have Boosh.

No reason for a lateral move and Boosh hasn't played himself out of a backup role. Hell, Stevens is giving him more time than a backup deserves, frankly.

The way the schedule is structured for the rest of the season, Boucher will be getting a lot more time than most fans will want.

Strange decision to waive SV by the Rags, though.

It's fine now, Boosh is playing well. But the **** storm that would be occuring if both were playing bad right now... well... that would suck.

Rangers have a goalie named Chad Johnson (ha) in Hartford that they called up...kid has been tearing it up down in the AHL.

I honestly dont know why they'd call him up though with Lundqvist in New York....but rumor has it that Hank is playing with some kind of injury or something. Why take chances I guess, they need a better backup. I never was a fan of Valiquette.

big no on Valiquette.
he had success under Tom Renney. a defensive minded coach.
Now the Rangers play a more uptempo game and Valiquette struggles.
He is what he is, a below average backup in the NHL.
Boucher has played well since that debacle against SJ at home.
If the Flyers want to find a replacement for, or are unhappy with Boucher they can do better then Valiquette.

What kind of drugs are people on that makes them believe that picking up this gigantic retard is going to actually make a difference?

Wow, you people are crazy if you would rather have Valiquette over Boucher. Boucher is a solid backup, one of the best in the league. I know he had that bad game against San Jose two friggen months ago, but come on. Give the guy a break. He has played what, six games? You guys are nuts.

I like Valiquette...but Boucher is a veteran now, a solid backup, and has been playing really well in his games. So Valiquette doesn't fit into the Flyers' plans. Pass.

He's been among the best back ups in the league only since playing for San "we never don't have possession of the puck or lose a faceoff in the regular season" Jose. But before that he's sucked. But, he's playing well enough now and no reason to dump him.
