Don't worry, with injuries to the D Gilbert isn't going anywhere.

Smid is now hurt... looked like a shoulder, didn't take his last shift with Lubo

Why bring up the way the Oiler's goals were scored? That's in the past now.

Smid looked like he hurt his shoulder after getting hit he was very ginger with it and couldn't get off the ice right away cause the puck was in our zone.

I just can't imagine it will get worse, yet it does.

Oh I know, I mean as soon as guys are back, he's a ghost.

So if the Oilers make the playoffs, with a Healthy Ryan Stone in the line up for the rest of the season, Stone gets a 10yr extention right? lol

$5.5M/year.

I'd sign him up right now.

Nah... they deem him expendable... let him walk over 100 g's and Vancouver signs him

No, keep some cap space available for all the players the Blackhawks will have to dump after their signings this week.

I don't.

Credit where credit is due: Great job by the Oilers containing the Wings, not giving them any space or open men in dangerous areas. Fantastic road game.

The Wings really weren't nearly as bad as some here make it sound. They had many, long stretches of offensive zone pressure. The Oilers just didn't give them much room, played the puck carrier hard, and closed up the dangerous passing and shooting lanes.

The Oilers went into the Wings' barn, out played them and Beat them. Well done boys.
