Howard getting the weak goal out of the way early, never mind Lebda helping get it on net....you still gotta stop that fluff.

As much as I wanted a pen shot, im glad they got the PP out of it... the sight of seeing Homer doing a pen shot gives me the shivers.

:edit

Anyone else having a hard time watching this? My feed on CI keeps cutting out, and freezing, audio jumping around...

Bad weather in Detroit tonight? Still a lot of empty seats 15 minutes into the period.

Goal of the year by Nilson. Made Ericsson look like an amateur, although it seems that isn't too hard this season for some reason. It's strange how he can play so well during the playoff, then drop so much during the following season. Blows my mind.

sometimes I think our team hesitates too much before they make the play. You can do that if you are Lidstrom but most others should just make the play as soon as possible.

That was an amazing play with what 3 or 4 seconds left in the period in our own end?!

The first goal against was pretty funny, the 2nd one was great, Ericsson got embaressed. Kindl was on the ice for both and he wasn't at fault for the first but he played a hand in the 2nd because he couldn't handle the pass from E causing the turnover. He will bounce back hopefully. May and Maltby on the ice at the same time is the real reason for the defensive issues. Meech getting layed out twice was pretty funny too. Can't believe we are only down 1 goal we played like crap.

Kindl is partly to blame for the 2nd one because he couldn't handle the pass and turned the puck over.

Thanks for bringing up the Meech hit, that is why he cannot be an NHL defenseman.....he is physically dominated.....how can he defend?!

Howard makes the Oiler's look like its the eighties, doesnt he?

Nah it was a rookie mistake. Everyone makes them, at least he had the balls to try again instead of turning into Leino. He will learn eventually.

Well I'm not too annoyed about Kindl being -2, but why is he on the ice with the fourth line? At least let him go with one of the top two lines.

Sometimes Babcock makes me shake my head.

Really wish Datyuk would step it up offensively and just take over. Hog the puck, who cares, he made Draper a 26 goal scorer and carried an aged Shanny years ago. This is getting ridiculous.

Ya that line is pretty bad defensively. Maltby hasn't played well and May is just too slow. Abdelkader has the most skill but is a rookie none the less and still learning. And Lebda has been terrible this season, so Kindl may one of the top players already on the ice by default

Trying out rookiers with the jitters is better done when the team is healthy and they have support from skilled veterans. Now their mistakes will come back relentlessly.

Yep, but at least they could have put him with some skilled players. Like Robert said, just a horrible line, other than Abby.
