Big game tonight against the fish w/teeth

Heres to hoping the Blues get out of the losing pattern and actually put up some points. I hope that they are a little fired up and come out and play a physical nasty game.

Maybe the only way to beat San Jose - get the puck in deep and pound their dmen.

With a loss tonight and another against the upstart Kings, JD will have no choice in letting Murray go. If they cant find a replacement I say hire Wamsley as the interim head coach and see how he does.GO BLUES

This is coming from a Shark's fan:

Actually the best way to beat San Jose so far is to burn their defense with team speed either through zone entry or a high tempo cycle along the perimeter. If you go the cycling route San Jose defenders have been known to blow coverage which will eventually get you that high quality opportunity.

In my opinion I wouldn't go the muscle route as the Sharks handle that pretty well. The faster you can physically move around the Shark's defense the better you will do.

Blues 1,731,458
Sharks -2

Conklin and every other player with 100 hattricks.

The entire city of San Jose is destroyed and Joe Thornton dies after choking in the playo-- err, on a chicken leg.

You forgot to mention that Heatley's head explodes like a melon when one of EJ's shots is deflected off of Setoguchi's exposed femur (after getting Oshied)....on the first shift.

Here is the lineup (according to JR):

Quote:
Forwards

David Perron-Andy McDonald-Brad Boyes

Paul Kariya-David Backes-T.J. Oshie

Alex Steen-Jay McClement-B.J. Crombeen

Keith Tkachuk-Patrik Berglund-Brad Winchester

D pairings

Barret Jackman-Roman Polak

Darryl Sydor-Erik Johnson

Carlo Colaiacovo-Mike Weaver

Goalie

Ty Conklin
I gotta say, I like those forward lines quite a bit. Its subtle, but moving Berglund back to center and Tkachuk to LW, with Winchester instead of Janssen, makes that look like a pretty legitimate line. And the top two lines have looked pretty effective lately (though I still want more bottom line out of them) but the scoring chances are definitely coming.

I've got a good feeling about this one.

As for me, I was buying groceries and splurged on some lobster tails tonight. I'm going to wait and have a late dinner so I can eat seafood as I watch the Blues eat seafood.

Prediction: Kariya 3 points. Boyes a PP goal. And Winchester gets in a fight.

Oshie is going to get Murray smashed.

Do you score if the Blues score 5?

No, but I think you get to "splurge" on a lobster tail.
