Tonight was awesome. Where was Guy Lapointe though? Chris Chelios should've been there too. And its a shame Saku couldn't make it.

Apart from this it was a perfect night.

Guy Lapointe was there, every player said he kept on playing tricks all night. Not sure who stood next to though.

Honestly, 38 shots agains Price is too much. If you trade goalies, maybe a win by the bruins.

Too bad we will only see that kind of effort for only one game in the season...

Two points for Gomez tonight also. 3 points in 3 nights since coming back, I hope he keeps up.

True. But goalies are part of the team. We would also look better if we had Chara on our lineup.

And Thomas is a great goalie anyway.

Today was the first day Dryden had been on the ice in goalie equipment since winning the cup in 1979. Holy crap that's incredible.

Cammy says Metro brought old sport illustrated magazines to sign for the old timers and was all excited to meet players he was watching when he was young.

Also, I feel O'Byrne new number will turn one day into some trivia question. "Before Ryan O'Byrne, who was the last habs player to wear the number 20?"

what a game!!!

I got tickets today at noon, it was a little expensive but really worth the price!!!

3 goals for Cammalleri, great game by Price, it was unexplainable to see all of the ex-habs on the ice and just one of the best and most memorable game i've seen soo far!!

GO HABS GO

After he retired he played senior games as a Dman, not a goaltender.

I wasted a lot of time reading every sickening post on that board. They blamed the "homer" referees for not calling more penalties on the Habs. However, most of their vitriol was directed against their own Dmen, especially Hunwick and Wideman. Thomas also took a lot of heat. They reached a consensus on the maddening inability of the Bruins to cash in on their 5-on-3s. Of course, there were the usual "Carrie" quips and other inane remarks.

So far, 2 out of 2 against the Bruins, just like 2007-08. The Habs won't be the conference winners again this season, but neither will the Bruins. I'd love to see Kessel get his revenge against his old team,. Not only would that take 2 points away from them, but it would improve the Leafs' position in the standings instead of having them tank.

Get real brother, I have NEVER before seen somethig as ridiculous as Boston getting a 2 minute 5 v 3 from a post-whistle scrum. I'm certain that is unseen in the NHL, with those sorts of gifts, it's no mystery why Boston outshout of the Habs.

Sens fan here. The pre-game ceremony was really something else. I watched a lot of those old-timers from the 70's, when I was growing up. It was really something special to see those amazing players from the past, all skating around in the pre-game ceremonial 'warm-up'. Especially when Dryden and Roy started letting the guys fire some soft shots at them.

It was great. I liked how the ceremony included so many players, who played for Montreal over the years. Nobody does those ceremonies, like Montreal. It was really awesome!

And, I'm so happy that the Habs played a great game to send all the Hab fans home with huge grins on this special night. It would have been a huge downer to have them lose!

Great stuff!

It was mind-blowing. I mean sure, if you are going to give the Habs a penalty fine, but use some discretion; don't put a team on a 5 on 3 for an after whistle scrum.

Thats why I love Bruins fans, reading and hearing their post game reactions after we win is both hilarious and fun.

Its probably a big part of why I love being a Habs fan, especially since victories against the big bad Bruins is a fairly common occurance

Last game also shows what a bunch of ******* they are without Lucic. His absence makes the olympic divers like Savard look worse and clearly shows they are far from a tough team. He's paid a lot of bucks but he manages to be an impact player on that team because except Chara and some over the hill goons-that-play-5min that team really doesn't live up to their reputation.

Proof : I haven't seen Bruins fans talk about moral victories yet tonight.
