Its not so much about getting him off the roster as it is getting an asset or two for him while we still can. Its not like we wouldn't be able to find an adequate regular season replacement for this kind of performance.
Wow, Chicago? really? Do you know what Holland would say to that?

I would be happy if we just looked good and still lost. Its one thing to watch your team lose. Its a whole 'nother to watch them do everything wrong, bring zero energy, not score, and then lose.

I hope Lemaire gives some pointers to Babcock after the game, you know, for 'team canada'.

Yes. He'd say "we're division rivals, so you're asking a lot." And then, he'd get a lot, or he'd say no.

That Blackhawks Pens game looks pretty good. Some bad blood already. Better that this Wings crapfest for sure.

I wouldn't be surprised if Holland was tanking.

At least, I hope. No reasonable GM would think a downward spiral goalie and a career AHLer would make a decent tandem.

Hey, Cam Fowler would look good in Red and White.

Ok hang me but I thought Ozzy had a good 15 minutes and made some big saves, on the pk no less. He almost had his glove on the Langenbrunner shot, no NHL goalie stops that shot. Of course, maybe that 15 minutes was all he had in the tank.

Me too... I'm 21, and they have not missed the playoffs in all the years I can remember. This has been a very humbling experience for me. I seriously walk around in a terrible mood for the rest of the night after these games, however, I'm getting better. We lose so much now that I can *almost* laugh it off and make fun of it.

*sigh*

You're surprised by this? This is classic Osgood (for the last 1.5 years). He'll stand on his head, and then let in a softie.

Would be pretty sweet to get a top 3 pick this year.

Ya me too, he needs to start facing NHL caliber teams. He needs to master Edmonton first, though.

Indeed.

As long that they don't draft a goalie.

Dan Cloutier is better than Jordan Pearce.
McCollum has looked like ****.
Larsson has been inconsistent as hell.

The rest isn't better. Kindl and Ericsson are career top 5-6 defensemen. Leino is a joke. Abdelkader has been invisible. Helm is physically skilled and it stops there.

Oh, and our guys are getting dominated yet again! No way!

This season is actually a nice breath of fresh air. Getting appreciate the players from other teams and really seeing where our "superstars" line up when they face some adversity.
Ha! Speak for yourself. My blood boils to see a team that I support playing like **** even with the injuries. The replacements are not retards, they are supposed to be able to play hockey and have played in the NHL for a lot of years, so no, it is not a breath of fresh air seeing our best players lack any passion and dedication. It's insulting to the fans to play like this and I could see Holmstrom at that intermission interview and he doesn't have that fighting spirit anymore, he does not know what the **** is happening.

You seem to be happy that we are doing **** so we can get a draft pick or something but I am not going to tolerate a whole season of this bull****. I don't want to be taught a lesson on how the other teams had to struggle to improve and be competitive. I am not from Michigan, so becoming a fan of the Red Wings was not because I am from the area or my family supports them. I became a fan because they were such a dominant team with excellent players and successful year in year out.

The other teams can keep Taylor Hall and John Tavares, we can be successful without them. We have done it for the past decade, we can do it now.

Haha. All that hard work from Miller and Abdelkader, and Leino gives it away.
