Sorry, but some of his calls are absolutely hilarious to listen to.
I've listened to Bob a few times and I'll agree he needs some polish . That said , Ill take hilarity over dishwater dull like the Oilers TV broadast crew . Good Lord those guys are brutal . Sure makes a person appreciate Rod Phillips .

Yeah I've often commented that Moreau is money on a breakaway in game or practice.
People can think whatever they like about Moreau but homefree he's money.

Meh... there's a lot of time to evaluate the Hemskyless Oilers. I'm happy with the past two contests.
You know what I was thinking? Maybe Hemsky being out for the rest of the season might be a blessing in disguise. The team can really get their head around the systems and team play, then when Hemsky comes back next year, he will be more apt to play a more team oriented game because the rest of the roster has it already ingrained in them.

Maybe with Hemsky as one of the vets on this team that the youngsters look up to offensively, they were trying to be more like him and it was causing some of the atrocious defensive play and turnovers?

If Hemsky can get the puck more than 4 feet past the blueline he's one of the best in the game. Unfortunately, he usually only makes it 2-3 feet and it goes back the other way.
The good thing is that so far we havent had to use the excuse that Penner needs a playmaking linemate for him to produce. He doesnt seem to need a supporting cast anymore where Hemsky has always needed a scoring LW to put the puck in the net

Alright I was bored, and curious, so I gathered our shootout stats for the past 3 years. I only included players that are currently on the roster. I have the info displayed in 2 formats.

The first just has the years one on top of the other, the one below it has them going across with the totals below it.
