I'd just like to see a good effort and something from Datsyuk.

And Howard bounce back.

Why take out Leino, when he could scratch just about anyone from the bottom 2 lines?

A team that is having trouble with consistent scoring doesn't need a 4th line grinder being played in favor of a (somewhat) scoring threat.

I love Jimmy's mask, specifically the speedometer with the retired numbers on it.

What a stupid penalty by Abdelkader to take.

Taking someone out of our bottom 2 lines in insane, the've been the best lines for the Wings all month. Leino is playing like dirt, let Eaves play some top six time like he deserves.

I think one of D or Z should play the entire 2 min of pp because our 2nd unit consists of bertuzzi always trying to give him best Gretzky/Oates impersonation lol. That unit is in real need of a playmaker

I'm pretty sure every Wings fan saw that coming. Dominate the shots, don't score a goal, get scored on.

Yep...

I think this is far from over. We better not get soft though.

First Brodeur, now Lundqvist.

Atleast the devils arent playing in front of Hank, thats a plus.

6 shots, 1 goal... seems normal for Wings opponents.

Not a bad first period. Good deflection by Boyle while Abdelkader was doggin' it a bit, but he was pretty gassed.

But its pretty clear that we simply don't have the skill to score when we should. Its agonizing watching our 2nd "powerplay" unit out there, or any variation of a line that features Cleary and Bertuzzi in general.

missed the goal, but apparently Ericsson had a bad play?

outshooting 14-6, we need to step up with the good work so far.

It wasn't really anyone's clear-cut fault on the goal. It was just a good pass and a good deflection that went top corner.

Other than the timing, it wasn't really a bad goal to give up.

Basic defense, E should be right in front of the net....while Stu is in the corner....but of course this isn't womens house league, we don't play no basic defense.

Ericsson was in front of the net. Just not in the right spot to stop the goal, because Boyle wasn't his man. Boyle was Abdelkader's man.
