You're the one who should be worried about your team.
haha owned, especially considering the sens have $38m invested in offence, most in league, pretty sad looking bunch out there in a nice soft ambush game served up for you.

I should have told my friend that Ottawa "est comme un deuxieme maison pour le ch." But she's dating a fat guy, so I can't move in on her, but the dude is a habs fan, so it's all good.

to the sore loser dick head sens fan shadowing this thread:

it's always enjoyable to play home games in your building.
we lost a forward, our no.2 d man---are already playing without
our best d man, our 2nd best winger, another regular d man AND
we still beat you with our 2nd string goalie. so **** off!

Can't wait to see this team healthy with Markov and Gionta in the lineup!
But I guess Halak doesn't get to put this in his "stolen game" category? No wonder Price leads the team in those...

The fact that you're so pissed off that you came to our GDT to vent makes me laugh.
Extremely lucky to win this game, I think not. If anything you guys had everything going for you coming in to this one.
-Habs playing back to back nights
-Sens playing at home
-Spacek gets injured early, White is not allowed to play. Two men down.
-Powerplays 7-3 in the game
-Habs still missing two of their top players (Markov, Gionta)

You can't blame us for being a better team offesnively and scoring on our chances, and you can't blame us for having a better goalie.
The better team won, so deal with it.

Now, can we please stay above .500. Last time we leaped a game over .500 we lost 4 in a row. Let's make a bigger cushion and roll with this. Pittsburgh, we owe you one. Let's beat 'em.

He looks like he doesn't care. Why would he though, playing in Ottawa...I'm sure it'd be a different story if he were here though.

there's an article about Stolen games and what it means.. look for it.

ok i did it for you :

A stolen game is
a game in which the team scored 2 or fewer goals, allowed 30 or more shots and won
or
a game in which the team scored 3 goals and allowed 35 or more shots and won.

its old tho.. maybe it has changed because of the parity .. so i respect ur point.

I gotta admit that I'm eating crow right now. One thing I learned tonight is : Don't question JM's decisions, they're made for a reason and he's the mother****ing coach, not me.

There is no doubt Plek will re-sign here. During intermissions and inbetween whistles, he is tapping guys with his stick, and giving praise. No doubt the Czech flavor, along with his friendship with AK will lead him to stay here. I say:

4 year 20 million $ deal

Nice job by the PK unit but Habs have to stop all these penalties, we're like 2nd or 3rd after tonight in times shorthanded in the league...gotta stop that especially when we're 30th in PP opportunities and 28th in goals per games.

We're playing with fire.

That's a really good point. Except for the late-game PK's (maybe they use those for motivation this year? ), the ship seems tighter in the late going recently.

Odd fact.

The last 2 times we were 1 game over .500?

We faced Pittsburgh the next game and fell back to .500

Guess who we play next...sigh.

And no, Bergeron will not be re-signed unless he takes peanuts. There's just not going to be room to re-sign Plekanec AND Bergeron for like a mil...and that's with all the RFA's taking minimal raises over what they make now.

And that is with Laraque hopefully being buried in the minors.

Sorry for taking this thread OT. But I just wanted to post this here so it's officially on record.

i believe gainey will resign pleks. i think he'll just concentrate on finding the big winger to play in the top 6 and forget about a center iceman
