Awesome post. Would make a great avatar if someone photoshopped a habs shirt onto viggo and wrote

"The Forum Ghosts have Returned"

or something along those lines.

And no, Bergeron will not be re-signed unless he takes peanuts. There's just not going to be room to re-sign Plekanec AND Bergeron for like a mil...and that's with all the RFA's taking minimal raises over what they make now.

And that is with Laraque hopefully being buried in the minors.
Nono. That was the last centennial silly.

Sens can't blame the reffing in taht one...wow, every time one of their players falls on his ass they get a freaking PP, meanwhile Bergeron gets mauled by Cheechoo for like 10 seconds but no call.

Strong game by Halak and the PK. Ottawa doesn't have a lot of guys that are willing to pay the price to score, and their goaltending is horrible. I know Leclaire is out, but he is only marginally better.

I wouldn't say Halak stole this game but he was very good. Montreal played very well in front of him.
Halak was stellar. If you watched the game you have to agree that Montreal kept Ottawa to low percentage shots most of the time.

Very interesting stat. Our goaltending can win us a game against them.

ok i did it for you :

A stolen game is
a game in which the team scored 2 or fewer goals, allowed 30 or more shots and won
or
a game in which the team scored 3 goals and allowed 35 or more shots and won.

its old tho.. maybe it has changed because of the parity .. so i respect ur point.
Yeah, as if there is a hard definition for "stolen". And even if there was, and I was actually serious about this, would an empty netter by Gomez be enough to make a difference between "stolen" or not? Haha, that's good to know.

AK definetly found his groove back, 3g 6a and +6 in his last 8 games.

And Cam is truly on a roll in the last 10 games, 9 goals 2a and +4

And Pleks has been Monster in his last 13 games, 2g 15a and +2

Is this line better with Kovy or Cammy??? Daaaaaaaaamn

And why the heck is it every year Andrei starts off so slow and suddenly produces. Is it his off season conditioning? Does he need to get warmed up a few games before playing at his top level? What the heck is it...

Nice job by the boys on the PK tonite. Sens went 0 for 7

Halak. Rock solid but a bit lucky on the glove save on regin. Really nice to see him rebound from his poor last outing

Pleks and Cammy. Wow. Chemistry is looking good

I hope Spacek is okay. Any word?

I dunno if it'd be called a stolen game, but he definately was great and kept the score low until we broke out and put it out of reach.

I think it's kind of weird. The game against Boston and this one, we get outshot (over 30 in both), yet the amount of great chances amongst those are relatively few.

Maybe Martin got the team playing very well in the defensive zone, keeping the opposing team in the perimeter.

Excuse me while I go barf at the thought.

We dodged a major bullet.

Thank god Ron Fournier is not our GM. He just said he re-sign Bergeron for like 2 M immediately, toss Carle and Weber away and mentioned he would buyout Laraque (and not just put him on the farm).

the best moment of the night, when the refs left 6 sens on the ice for a full 10 seconds before realizing it
