12/21/2009 YOUR SAN JOSE SHARKS @ (>) dallas stars. 8:30pmEST/5:30pmPST
I don't have time to do too much stuff for this GDT but I'll try to make it just as over the top and melodramatic as ever. Maybe something that will get me banned.
YOUR SAN JOSE SHARKS (20 - 8 - 7; 1st in Pacific Division; 5th in league)
dallas stars (15 - 9 - 11; 4th in Pacific Division; 12th in league)
HEY SHARKS. REMEMBER WHEN YOU WON LAST GAME? DO THAT **** AGAIN
Refs (brought to you as always by SJeasy. "If your ref summary isn't from SJeasy, I probably made it up"):
Fraser #2, Auger #15
Fraser is a senior . Both refs tend to swallow the whistle in the third, Auger more than Fraser. Auger is the second tightest ref in the league. Fraser is right in the middle. Both are bottom half for skaters. Neither ref tends to call the score. Auger does appear to be very attentive to safety. Auger may be taking Lee's spot this year for calls disliked by all teams.
Kerry "The Hair" Fraser
Stephane "The Auger" Auger (your team will get drilled)
The Sharks have not done well historically in games reffed by Fraser. They broke the McCreary curse in the last game, here is to hoping that they break the Fraser curse.
YOU KNOW HOW I HAD CARL SAGAN IN THE LAST STARS GAME? WELL, ED BELFOUR WILL ONLY PLAY ON A TEAM FOR "BILLIONS AND BILLIONS". GET IT?Shout out to whoever told me to use that joke. I forget your name.
TEAM STATS STOLEN FROM NHL AND ESPN:
SORRY THIS GDT KIND OF SUCKS. THE SHARKS WILL STILL WIN. ALL CAPS MAKES IT TRUE.
My first Sharks ROAD game ever is tonight as I live in the Dallas area now. Can't wait to be in enemy territory, hopefully I can keep my lunch down during their pre-game videos and all that. :-)
Any other Sharks fans gonna be there?
For those TV, if you see an Indian guy with a black armor jersey with a white lady in a Sharks home jersey, that's us. Hopefully the few Sharks fans will get panned to a lot (usually Sharks fans get panned to by the cameras when the Sharks score, to show the few of us actually cheering!)
This is gonna be so awesome. Our seats are lower bowl, facing the benches (on the side of the penalty boxes), 7 rows from the ice directly up from the faceoff circle in the zone where the Sharks shoot twice. Section 105, Row J for anyone who might be there.
