I figured it would be another week. Would be awesome if he could get a game or two before Christmas.

If he plays in the minnesota game on the following saturday then, Elliott probably will have started 15 games in a row by then. I really don't see Brodeur getting a start until then....

If we lose in Philadelphia, I could see Brodeur start against Carolina on Saturday.

Listen, he comes back in 10 days, then needs another few games to get his play in the proper order, in reality, LeClaire is back around Christmas eve.

I know he won't be in game shape, but this is a unique situation where he has still been skating and taking some shots, well as far as I know he has.

Thank. God.

Elliot has been good, in realtion to his abilities, but this team needs Levalaire, who is simply far more talented.

I think people are clinging onto Clouston's words a bit too much. There wouldn't be any news if he said "soon" but a simple approximation of "10 days" and hell breaks loose.

Hes has still been taking shots, he probably won't be as rusty as you think

This screams for a movie trailer parody:

/cue up Don LaFontaine

"In 10 days...

(cuts away to a faraway shot of a male silhouette bending over wearing goalie gear in a darkened hockey rink)

he returns.

(lights in front of mystery person flick on to reveal that he is wearing Senators gear)

He is hungry. He is ready. The question is: Are we?

(quick action zoom to a very big closeup of Leclaire as he looks up and stares at the camera with a goofy grin)

Pascal 2: Electric Boogaloo

Coming soon to ScotiaBank Place and your local NHL rink - Christmas 2009"

lol I'm more interested in the fact of how he will be able to face the opposition that is going to thrash the net. I wonder if that will deconcentrate his game a bit, you'd think with our tough d-men, nobody would dare take any liberties with LeClaire...

Weird...
