Just got back from the game. Coburn is awful, Parent was sloppy, and we lacked enthusiasm. If the Senators had more talent, we would have lost by more.

Boucher did play well.

I feel like teams have our number right now. They are watching tapes and seeing we are an inaccurate shooting team and rely on ugly goals. They are simply just letting us cycle and piling at the net. We can't get a shot through to save our lives. It's block block block block block. We can't get the ugly goals because we can't create any rebounds. I feel like I see a circle of 5 senators around the net + a goalie and we can't find seams.

This team is so frustrating to watch right now.

I miss when we used to pick up the trash around the net. Where did our PP go?

I keep thinking to myself before every game, "This is the game that's going to get us back on track". It's been a disappointing season so far, getting shutout 3 out of 6 games is unacceptable. We won't get out of this slump until the players start playing like they actually give a crap.

Not sure whether or not you guys are interested in an outside opinion, but I thought your team looked good tonight, a bounce here and there and the Flyers score 3 or 4 - there were quite a few dangerous chances and I thought your team carried the play for the most part. Every time I watch I am so impressed with your depth on both forward and D - I have little doubt that when all is said and done you'll be looking at another 100+ point season. There's a lot of talent and a lot of hard workers and that combination won't struggle for long.

thanks, sometimes it takes an outsiders view to put things in perspective.

the talent is there, whether or not these guys want to work hard and pay the price that is another matter.
I wouldnt be shocked if a move is made before the holiday trade freeze.
Something has to give because clearly something is missing.

It's been said a thousand times already, but I seriously can't wait until Gagne, Powe, Betts are all back and healthy. Hell, I can't wait until Carcillo comes back from the suspension too. When this team is at full strength, they are pretty damn good.

Sometimes teams turn around straight away after a coaching change.

Some never turn around.

Most take time to gel into the new mold of things.

It was naive to think that the Flyers would become a brand new team with the mere hiring of a new coach. It is going to take time.

Pre-season being the ideal time to do such.

Looks like I didn't miss much tonight.

You contradicted yourself.

But I'll give you some credit, for a blatant rub-it-in job, that wasn't that bad.
