What's your team's 2009-2010 lineup as of now?

It would be great what others think how thei team's lineup will look like. You can update it after other changes like the Import draft, the trade period during the camp, etc. I like to know what kind of lineups there are in other teams

Here's mine for the Remparts:

Ryan Bourque (18) - Kelsey Tessier (19) - Danick Paquette (19)
Marc-O. Vallerand (20) - Jonathan Audy-M. (19) - Dmitry Kugryshev (19)
Alexander Avtsin (18) - David Gilbert (18) - Jean-Simon Allard (20)
Julien Corriveau (18) - Mathieu Loisel (19) - Dominic Savoie (19)

X: Yannick Reiber (18), Benjamin Martin (17), Charles Power (17), Jason Rajotte (17)

Mikael Tam (18) - Samuel Groulx (19)
Patrick Cusack (20) - Mathieu Brisson (17)
Martin Lefebvre (17) - Alexandre Néron (19)

X: Samuel Lachance (17)

Peter Delmas (19)
J-P Gagnon (19)

X: Jimmy Appleby (16)

pretty funny i had the same thread idea but tought we should wait after the import draft

i've got 2 question about the rempart roster, is Allard coming back as an overagers??? didnt think roy was a big fan of him?? also Brisson on defense is it a wish or you think roy can get him to change his mind.....

I think he'll change his mind.

Roy said in the paper that Allard would come back as an overager... as of now. I think he'll see what he can do until Christmas

I'll update my roster after the import draft, camp etc... Roy will probably go for a top 4 d-man at the Import draft or a winger who can play with Allard and Gilbert, so it's probably going to change. He said yesterday that he might not draft an import this year... but I don't believe him.

Do you think that Fortier might come back? The way he has been playing lately, there's no way he's gonna be in the AHL next year...

I think that Cormier in the NHL is more likely than Fortier in the AHL!

Thats a shame. I really liked Schram. Thought he and Sill were the most fun to watch when the Cats and Dogs met. You guys should be right at the top of things this season IF Hoffman and Peterson don't go pro. Gonna be fun in the Atlantic division this season.

I hope Hoffman and Peterson stay and that we get a least one Euro who wants to play hockey. I really liked Francois Gauthier and that was a hard pill to swallow when he got traded. Amyot as well, to some degree.

Still need a couple of forwards, 1 of Snow/Beaudoin probably won't be back on D and 2 open Euro spots. This year we shouldn't have trouble scoring goals but keeping them out might be.

Moncton Wildcats This is tough to call with so many possibilities of retuning players and US recruits. Here goes

Randy Cameron 20
Matt Brown 18
Devon MacAusland 18
Ted Stephens 19
Andrew Roski 17
Scott Brannon 20
Matt Bissonette 17
Daniel Pettersson 19
*Zach O'Brien 17
*Olivier D'aoust 17
???Euro pick 7th overall
*Bussieres
*Saulnier brothers. This is interesting for sure. They said that they would only play for the same team. Fine. But what if only one of them is ready for the jump to the Q? Do they both play Junior A with the Commandos? Or does one play and hope the other progresses quick enough? Gonna be a tough call. I just don't see two open spots for both of them at this time.
Pierre Marc Lessard 20 ** Will all depend on if Brannon turns pro. Can see him being traded to a Quebec based team IMO.***

Defence

Mark Barberio 19
Brandon Gormley 17
Simon Jodoin 19
David Savard 19
Paul Dimitruk 19
Matt Boyle 20 (Not sure what will happen with Matt. Love what he brings to the table but tough to give a 20 yo spot to a 3rd pairing D man.)
*Patrick Downe 17
*Dillon Donnelly 16 Whether he makes the team this year or next could be interesting anyways. Big tough D man.
Jeff Bell 18

Goal
Nicola Riopel 20 If he does not come back its a HUGE blow to the Cats this season.
Louis Domingue 17 Had decent stats as a rookie and getting better. Not ready to carry the load full time tho.
Brian Billett 17 According to some reports one of the better 92 goalies in the US. Has committed to a NCAA program. Not much chance of landing him IMO.
Wendall Vye 19 Dressed for a couple of games last season when Domingue was at the under 17's. Played for the Commandos of Junior A. Not going to take the Cats to the promised land. IMO

From this years draft not sure how many forwards will make it but we sre still trying to lure Yasin Cisse fron USHL. Plus we drafted Brandon McNally from the US. He has not verbally committed yet but is supposed to be an impact player eventually.

57,

I think you follow the juniors pretty closely, but is this your projected line-up ? Sherbatov on the second line ? Do you think he will even report ? Geoffrey and Courcelles IMO will see 4th line duty and I am wondering if Mackinnon will even come back this year ?

I also heard Ritter is probably not coming back either...

Thank God for Jake Allen, but they will need to trade him at some point soon or they will struggle for a very long time.

What's with the Juniors and small players ? I mean I understand the new rules and all, but it seems pretty much every team in the league is looking to get bigger, no ?

Sherbatov on the 2nd line...

He will have problems making the team let alone be on the 4th line. Same goes for Geoffrey. I think you're putting way too much emphasis on their seasons in AAA. You have to remember they were 17. If you look at Sherbatov and Courcelles, both played on Laval...Sherbatov had way more points but Courcelles will have a MUCH better QMJHL career. One year makes a huge difference at this age.

I agree with the Sherbatov thing as well Lala and I hope Coucelles puts on some weight over the summer cause he has been injury prone and looked IMO scared in the games he played for the Juniors last year.

I personally think that Vincent's GM skills are showing their true colors. I guess he get's a pass last year because he used the Foggies old scouts, but I think only Asselin made the team from that draft and a couple of walk ons made it to xmas before getting the boot. They bring in a 19 yr old FA from Ontario who won't be back, I am not a huge fan of Roski's, but he had some grit if less skill vs Fortier (who claims he is looking to be a tough guy at his size ??) I think they handled the Rubin affair pretty badly and got an 18 year old D who couldn't make a rebuilding BAC team. All he has done so far is basically trade for his old players (even those were not clear cut wins for the Juniors)

We'll see who makes this team out of this years draft, according to PV there is 8 or more spots available which means they will struggle big time and as I mentioned before, will also get run out of their building without some size or toughness. Grenache better stay healthy cause he's not going to get much help standing up for the team.

I think Chris Holden will have something to say about Mosher being on the team.

The Rocket apparently have a Euro defenseman lined up, and I imagine they will take an impact forward with the later pick.
