We do this every year,if we sold big time would we have a realistic shot? I mean cmon if we could add both Deschamps and Lagace, and maybe Jessko Bernard.Moncton isn't that much better if at all,sea dogs well let pei deal with them,The only negative with the sea dogs is there reaction when things get tough(same time you have to be able to hit them) they lose there cool
Jesseko Bernard? He's not the kind of player CB should be targeting. He's slow and out of shape.
This is big news for Moncton, they are probably going to be the second strongest team in the league. I really thought Deschamps would be heading to Victoriaville, but I guess that won't be happening. Does anyone think this is a big missed opportunity for Victoriaville? Maybe they'll make up for it with another big trade. Anyways, could a team like Moncton add one more solid player? Imagine getting another top forward like Luke Adam or Deschamp's now former teammate Jacob Legacé...
Big trade for Cape Breton, they get a solid veteran and some future in return. I saw Legault play a few games at the AHL level this season and while he didn't show up on the score sheet, he looked pretty good out there. He should give Cape Breton a little bit of a needed boost to help them compete with the top teams in the league.
Legault was by far the best Cats in the Shawi vs Quebec semi-finale. His grit will go perfectly with CB's style. But I don't think it was the right move for them. Even if Ward was injured for quite some time, you still need to add depth to your defense.
I know someone in Legault's family and she said he's really pissed right now.
WOW! I wasn't expect to see some trades today! Moncton just come out of nowhere in this trade period by adding Riopel, Bourque and now Deschamps! This team is going to the cup and I really think they will win it!
BTW, some sources say that Quesnel and Touchette are actually trade to Val D'Or, but confirmation will be after Christmas (this one is from Alain Sears). The same sources say that Val D'Or found another defenseman elsewhere, so that explain why Delisle is not in the deal.
with his wing, and then legace's wing plus adam center add it up its our new first line
Cape Breton spent a lot on Legault and the only thing you could move now to add Lagacé is Ellis. But then... you have this huge hole on defense. Lagacé is still possible, but very unlikely.
Mario said in the local newspaper this morning that he plans to add another veteran forward and veteran defencemen. Maybe a guy like Alex Wall from Montreal a guy our Head Scout Bob Johnson is a fan of and who knows maybe Lagace if the price isnt to high.

Let me guess... Boudreau! ^^

we are the perfect trading partners...
Jalbert and Lagacé (I'm not sure about your situation with 20 yo though).
Cantwell, lagacé won't come cheap though. Expect a price close to deschamps, but for both players...

If we did make a move for Jalbert we would have to move Piskacek to make room for him.
I understand that Lagace won't come cheap. Probably looking at Ellis + . I honestly dont think we will get him. Its just that there has been rumors of CB being interested in him.
